Job Description JOB SUMMARY: Under the general supervision of the Program Director/designee, functions as part of a team assigned to support consumers living in independent apartments in the community. Assists assigned individuals in developing and maintaining viable living, working and social situations in the community by obtaining needed medical, social, psychosocial, educational, financial, vocational and other services. Provides supportive counseling in 1 :1 or group formats that assist the consumer to modify attitudes and behaviors as needed., 5. Obtains and develops resource information for consumers in all aspects of their care; disseminates this information to consumers in a manner that is clear and understandable., 7. Facilitates individualized services to the consumer that meet the diverse needs of the consumer and focus on-the discharge-planning goal., 8. Family Specialist is responsible for providing office and/or support services to families including: intake and assessment; goal planning to facilitate independence and family stability; provide support and education to promote positive parent-child interaction and healthy growth and development; and coordinate with other providers for service needs, referrals and goal planning. Summary: New York Edge is looking for a Community School Assistant Director to assist with establishing a high and visible presence within the school building supporting the Community School Director in assuming a strong leadership role and holistic approach toward improving academic performances driven by strong, collaborative partnerships among principals, parents, teachers, and CBO’s throughout the school year. Each year, programs in academics, including STEM, the arts, sports and wellness, and college access, help 40,000 students develop leadership skills and succeed in school. Summary: Esports Specialists provide targeted, skill and age-appropriate instruction, coaching, and mentorship in New York Edge’s after-school programs, with a focus on esports. They lead New York Edge's Esports Model, in alignment with the Sports & Wellness Department, to foster a safe and inclusive environment for youth to develop their gaming and strategic thinking skills. Esports Specialists organize and facilitate esports programming at their site, guiding students in responsible gaming practices, teamwork, and strategic skills that extend beyond the screen.
