PRIMARY FUNCTION We are seeking a highly analytical, strategic, detail oriented, and creative Social Media Manager to develop and execute social media strategies across all major social platforms that drive audience growth, engagement, increase brand awareness, and support business goals across multiple platforms. Job Description THE ORGANIZATION The Center for Justice Innovation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing community safety and racial justice. Since 1996, we’ve worked alongside communities, courts, and those most directly affected by the justice system to build stronger, healthier, and more equitable neighborhoods. SIJC operates diversion, alternative to detention and incarceration, supervised release, reentry, mental health and wellness, workforce development, peer-led restorative justice and leadership development programs. The Justice Center’s youth justice initiatives provide judges, prosecutors, and defense attorneys with alternative community sentencing options that hold individuals accountable in a way that is meaningful, proportionate, and restorative. The goal is to provide participants with individual and group services that help them to avoid future contact with the justice system and promote swift case resolutions that bolster public confidence in justice. SIJC is seeking a Youth Engagement Specialist who will support as a Mentor in working with youth justice initiatives participants ages 13 to 18. Reporting to the Youth Justice Initiatives Program Manager, the Youth Engagement Specialist will develop and oversee mentorship programming activities—including group workshops and individual mentorship sessions. These activities will take place virtually, on-site, and in the community. The Youth Engagement Specialist will work individually and with a team to assist participants in addressing the individual and societal factors that may impact their behavior. Job Description JOB SUMMARY: The Clinical Specialist is a mental health professional who reports directly to the Division VP. This position is primarily clinical and consultative in nature and provides services to all supported housing programs (both single- and scatter site) throughout the cluster. While the Clinical Specialist does not carry formal supervisory or operational responsibilities, the VP may deputize him/her to delegate and monitor certain tasks and responsibilities to staff at the Program Director level and below in relevant Supported Housing (SH) programs. Under the direction of the Assistant Commissioner of HRSD, the Senior Data Management Analyst is responsible for leading HRSD’s strategic analytics, data process improvement, and reporting functions. The Senior Data Management Analyst’s responsibilities include, but will not be limited to, the following: • Develop new reporting and analytics solutions and develop and document best practices around HRSD data collection, maintenance, reporting, and sharing;, • Develop visualizations and user interfaces such as dashboards using Power BI;, • Maintain data integrity in the agency’s HRIS and other internal databases;, • Perform data reconciliation where necessary and develop new methods for improving accuracy and efficiency where appropriate;, • Run reports regularly for QA checks from various systems including internal systems as well as City systems such as CHRMS and NYCAPS;, • Produce ad-hoc reports using data sources as needed; and, • Maintain and enhance agency-wide, executive, and other organizational charts and visualizations The Senior Data Management Analyst will work closely with the Lead Data Management Specialist in collaborating with unit heads, in-house staff and division stakeholders, and support initiatives on behalf of the Assistant Commissioner including the development and implementation of policies, standard operating procedures, training and staff development programs, and associated materials to streamline work processes; ensure consistency of business practices; and promote organizational change across the division. Other key responsibilities include: identifying and following up on critical issues; assistance with reporting of the Agency’s staffing plan; overseeing the Data Management Specialist; coordination with the Division of Technology & Innovation (T&I) on the enhancement and maintenance of HR-related applications; monitoring HRSD Performance Indicators, coordinating and executing special assignments and providing recommendations to the Assistant Commissioner as needed. A master's degree from an accredited college in economics, finance, accounting, business or public administration, public health, human resources management, management science, operations research, organizational behavior, industrial psychology, statistics, personnel administration, labor relations, psychology, sociology, human resources development, political science, urban studies or a Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school, and one year of satisfactory full-time professional experience in one or a combination of the following: working with the budget of a large public or private concern in budget administration, accounting, economic or financial administration, or fiscal or economic research; in management or methods analysis, operations research, organizational research or program evaluation; in personnel or public administration, recruitment, position classification, personnel relations, labor relations, employee benefits, staff development, employment program planning/administration, labor market research, economic planning, social services program planning/evaluation, or fiscal management, or in a related area; or, 2. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and three years of satisfactory full-time professional experience in the areas described in "1" above. 3.An associate degree or completion of 60 semester credits from an accredited college and five years of satisfactory full-time professional experience as described in “1” above. 4. A four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent approved by a State’s department of education or a recognized accrediting organization and seven years of satisfactory full-time professional experience as described in “1” above. 5.A combination of education and/or experience equivalent to “1”, “2”, “3”, or “4” above. College education may be substituted for professional experience at the rate of 30 semester credits from an accredited college for one year of experience.
