Position Summary: We are seeking a caring, energetic, and reliable Infant/Toddler Teacher to join our dedicated team. The Teacher will lead in providing a warm, stimulating, and safe environment that fosters children’s growth, development, and well-being. Key Responsibilities: planning and implementing daily activities for infants and toddlers Provide attentive and nurturing care, including feeding, diapering, and soothing Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment Support social-emotional development by modeling positive interactions and behavior Communicate effectively with children, staff, and families Assist in observing and documenting children’s developmental milestones Follow all safety, health, and licensing guidelines as per OCFS regulations Help prepare learning materials and set up activities Participate in team meetings, trainings, and professional development Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED required; CDA or college coursework in Early Childhood Education preferred Experience working with infants and toddlers in a licensed childcare setting preferred Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs and be active on the floor with children CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain Strong communication and teamwork skills Passion for working with young children and supporting their development Pay: $17 an hour Fulltime position
