Job Description Are you a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced warehouse environment? We’re hiring a dependable and detail-oriented Assistant Warehouse Manager to help oversee daily warehouse operations for our retail furniture business. In this role, you’ll support the Warehouse Manager in supervising staff, maintaining inventory accuracy, managing shipping, and receiving, and ensuring a safe, clean, and efficient warehouse environment. What You'll Do: • Oversee daily operations including shipping, receiving, inventory movement, and product staging, • Supervise and train warehouse team members, helping with onboarding and scheduling, • Maintain accurate inventory using POS, ERP systems, and barcode scanners, • Collaborate with sales, purchasing, and delivery teams to ensure order accuracy and timely fulfillment, • Enforce OSHA safety standards, cleanliness, and equipment maintenance protocols, • Assist with claims, damages, service orders, and vendor returns (RTVs), • 3-5 years of warehouse or logistics experience, including team supervision, • Mastery in managing inventory flow and optimizing logistics process to enhance operational efficiency, • Proficiency with computers, inventory software, POS systems, and barcode scanning tools, • Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills, • Great warehouse technical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills, • Ability to find creative solutions and utilize available resources to overcome challenges, • Able to lift 75+ lbs. and be on your feet throughout the shift, • Valid Texas driver’s license required, • Must be able to drive a 26-foot box truck, • Associate's Degree or certifications in supply chain management, logistics or related field is a plus., • Competitive pay reflecting your expertise and dedication, • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance coverage, • 401(k) and 401(k) matching, • Disability and Life insurance, • Generous paid time off and holiday benefits., • Exclusive employee discounts on our luxurious furniture offerings., • Opportunities for professional growth and advancement within our esteemed organization.
