ROLE SUMMARY Zydus Therapeutics is seeking a Senior Director of Compliance. Reporting to the General Counsel & Chief Compliance Officer, with a dotted line to the Chief Operating Officer, the Senior Director of Compliance will be responsible for leading and continuously improving the company’s compliance program. This role ensures that business activities comply with applicable laws, regulations, industry standards, and internal policies, including requirements related to FDA-regulated activities, promotional practices, privacy, anti-kickback and anti-corruption controls, third-party oversight, investigations, auditing and monitoring of field sales force and developing policies and training. The Senior Director will serve as a strategic advisor to senior leadership and partner closely with all business functions to promote a culture of ethics, accountability, and compliance. RESPONSIBILITIES · Partner with leaders across Legal, Commercial, Medical and Clinical Development to Design, implement, maintain, and enhance a risk-based compliance program aligned with applicable pharmaceutical laws, regulations, guidance, industry codes, and company policies. · Monitor regulatory and enforcement developments affecting pharmaceutical operations and translate changes into development of practical policies, standard operating procedures, codes of conduct, training, and business guidance. · Lead enterprise compliance risk assessments, identify areas of vulnerability, and develop corrective and preventive action plans in partnership with business owners. · Oversee and execute compliance monitoring, auditing, testing, and reporting activities (including sunshine act reporting), for internal team, field-based team and contracted third-party team to assess adherence to policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. · Provide compliance guidance on medical and scientific exchange, payer engagement strategies, drug safety, market research, healthcare professional interactions, grants, donations, sponsorships, patient support programs, third-party engagements, and other regulated activities. · Manage internal compliance investigations, including intake, triage, documentation, root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and escalation to appropriate stakeholders. · Prepare periodic reports for executive leadership and, as applicable, board or committee oversight regarding compliance risks, program effectiveness, investigations, remediation, and emerging trends. · Lead compliance training and communications programs that enhance ethical decision-making, regulatory expectations, and employee accountability. Clearly communicate requirements, explain the rationale behind decisions and provide regular updates on relevant changes or developments · Support due diligence and oversight activities related to vendors, distributors, consultants, contract manufacturing organizations, clinical research organizations, and other third parties. · Serve as a liaison for internal and external audits, regulatory inquiries, inspections, and compliance-related reviews, as appropriate. Requirements: REQUIREMENTS · Bachelor’s degree required, JD preferred. · Minimum 7 years of compliance, legal, regulatory experience, including significant experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry. · Comfortable operating in a growth-stage biotech environment with dynamic priorities, with proven ability to operate in a "hands-on" fast-paced environment. Experience supporting product launch activities preferred. · Demonstrated knowledge of laws, regulations, guidance, and industry standards relevant to pharmaceutical operations, such as FDA requirements, clinical trial obligations, healthcare compliance obligations, privacy requirements, anti-bribery and anti-corruption laws, and industry codes of conduct. · Experience developing and operationalizing compliance policies, procedures, monitoring plans, risk assessments, investigations, training, and corrective action processes. ROLE SUMMARY The Sr. Director of Field Reimbursement Management (FRM) will lead the strategic direction, build-out, and operational execution of the FRM organization in support of saroglitazar and future rare/specialty disease launches. Reporting to the Head of Value & Access, this leader will be responsible for building a high-performing FRM team from the ground up to support healthcare providers (HCPs) and office staff in navigating patient access and reimbursement processes. This role will serve as a critical partner across the Commercial and Value & Access functions – especially Sales, Patient Services, Payer Access, and Channel Accounts – to ensure providers have the education and support needed to facilitate patient access to therapy. The individual will contribute to the development and optimization of patient support programs while ensuring the FRM organization is effectively aligned to broader access and organizational objectives. The role will also provide strategic input into the development of field reimbursement educational resources and provider support materials to enhance provider office engagement and patient access. The successful candidate will bring deep expertise in pharmacy benefit reimbursement, provider office workflows, specialty pharmacy operations, and field team leadership, along with demonstrated success designing and operationalizing field access organizations in emerging biotech environments. This position provides strategic/operational leadership to ensure promotional materials and labeling are scientifically accurate, FDA-compliant (OPDP), and aligned with corporate objectives. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Ensure that advertising, and promotional materials meet applicable advertising and promotion regulations. Ensure that medical affairs materials meet applicable regulations., • Oversee the development, maintenance, and lifecycle management of core labeling documents, including USPI and patient information leaflets., • Partner with Supply Chain, Commercial, Medical, Legal, Compliance, and Regulatory Operations teams to effectively and efficiently build regulatory compliance into product labeling distribution, marketing and medical strategies and execution. ROLE SUMMARY Reporting to the Executive Director, Payer Access, the Director of National Accounts is responsible for facilitating the introduction, education, and access /reimbursement of ZTI products within national/regional payers and PBMs across the Commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid books of business, as well as the Veteran’s Administration (VA), Dept. of Defense and other federal/state agencies or integrated delivery network accounts, as assigned. Directors will be responsible for the development and execution of strategic account plans. Subsequent implementation of the strategy and tactics will be driven through alignment of the strategy with defining critical success factors, key performance indicators, and the supporting tactics for our products. This individual will need to work closely with patient services, distribution, sales, marketing, MSLs and commercial operations on a routine basis to ensure alignment in a fast-paced matrix environment. RESPONSIBILITIES · Create and execute a business strategy and execution plan for assigned commercial/federal/state government payer markets with an objective to minimize access barriers through streamlined and transparent coverage resulting in smooth patient access to therapy · Drive education in coordination with commercial leadership and other Value & Access team members regarding commercial/federal/state marketplace activities and make recommendations for their pull through success in this marketplace to maximize appropriate use · Execute and support any necessary commercial/government contracts as necessary to optimize reimbursement /product access. · Responsible for staying current with the evolution of trends and policies related to the commercial/federal/state government access markets · Create and update business strategies and plans as needed. · Facilitate communication about this segment across all relevant stakeholders · Establish critical relationships with a variety of stakeholders within this segment · Establish Zydus Therapeutics as a strategic partner for commercial, federal and state customers. · Reactively respond to any identified coverage issues and market access challenges within a given payer segment · Lead and demonstrate the ability to expand or build long-term executive level account relationships with targeted accounts · Collaborate with brand and medical teams to continually improve relationships · Attend key trade meetings (ex. PCMA, AMCP), POA’s and sales meetings · Develop internal triage process in collaboration with field leadership around coverage concerns including denials or appeals and a plan to remediate Requirements: Bachelor's Degree, with an advanced degree preferred. · 10+ years of proven pharmaceutical/biotech industry experience in Market Access or account management (preferably with rare or specialty pharmaceuticals). · Broad and deep relationship customer-facing experience with one or more national accounts (ex. CVS, ESI, UHG) · Outstanding customer relationships, interpersonal, and verbal/written communication skills, with the established ability to effectively work with diverse audiences and influence cross-functionally · Proven negotiation skills and problem-solving capabilities. · An established track record of success securing optimal formulary coverage at assigned accounts. · Rare/specialty oral launch experience (pharmacy benefit) strongly preferred. · Strong analytical skills with the proven ability to effectively analyze data to determine trends and inform strategy. Deep insight within Medicare, Medicaid, and other government channels is required. · Superior collaboration skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively, addressing short-term needs while maintaining a focus on long-term strategies. · Must have an in-depth knowledge of current trends in commercial/federal/state marketplace as well have an understanding of current healthcare regulations, contracting and reimbursement · Proven ability to work effectively across multi-disciplinary teams TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS The position will require domestic travel (up to 40%), including nights and weekends on occasion
