A growing and highly successful industrial manufacturing company is seeking a hands-on Business Operations Leader to oversee the day-to-day operational and financial side of the business. This individual will play a critical role in supporting continued growth by managing operations, accounting oversight, business processes, contracts, and overall organizational efficiency. The ideal candidate is practical, hardworking, and adaptable — someone who can roll up their sleeves, support the operational side of the business, and become a trusted long-term leader within the organization. Key Responsibilities • Oversee daily business operations and support overall company performance, • Manage and lead a small operations team of approximately 5 employees, • Partner closely with ownership on strategic planning, operational improvements, and company growth initiatives, • Oversee accounting-related functions including financial processes, reporting, taxes, budgeting, and vendor coordination, • Review and manage contracts, operational procedures, and internal workflows, • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, organization, and scalability across the business, • Build strong relationships with office staff, field employees, and skilled labor teams, • Experience in business operations, operations management, finance leadership, or executive-level operational support, • Strong understanding of accounting, financial oversight, and business operations, • Prior leadership or management experience required, • Comfortable working in an industrial, manufacturing, construction, or blue-collar environment, • Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels, • Self-starter mentality with a hardworking, “boots on the ground” approach, • Experience supporting small to mid-sized businesses preferred, • Someone eager to learn the business, understand operations deeply, and grow with the company long term This is not a highly corporate or overly polished environment.
