WHAT WE ARE HUNGRY FOR The District Production Manager is responsible for managing sanitation, monitoring packaging and all displays to ensure the best quality products are delivered to our customers. Under this role, you will keep the store’s sanitation, displays and quality at the highest level. This candidate will be a key leader who focuses on educating and mentoring employees effectively to ensure customer satisfaction when they buy product from Paris Baguette. The ideal candidate will have a deep knowledge of food producing techniques, sanitation, and quality assurance to help achieve our mission to bring expertly crafted baked and brewed goods to our guests through a warm and welcoming bakery café experience. KNOWLEDGE AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Plan, direct, and manage production staff schedules and workflows across store locations., • Train and educate employees on quality standards, sanitation practices, and food production techniques to ensure customer satisfaction., • Develop and manage purchasing and inventory plans., • Review, evaluate, and improve operational processes and facility conditions., • Assess individual staff compliance with sanitation and food safety standards in stores and production areas., • Evaluate overall sanitation levels in stores and production facilities., • Monitor local health, safety, and sanitation laws and regulations and integrate requirements into business processes., • Ensure compliance with health inspection standards and implement corrective actions as needed., • Identify and address any conditions or practices unsuitable for store sanitation and food safety., • Collaborate with production field managers to implement joint initiatives to improve sanitation and quality standards., • Assess sanitation improvement activities and provide feedback and recommendations., • Evaluate the quality and consistency of products produced in stores., • Develop and deliver continuous improvement and quality training programs., • Prepare reports related to new product launches., • Conduct training related to new products and procedures., • Submit daily and weekly operational reports to the production team leader, including staffing, product quality, and work activities., • Identify, document, and report product defects and quality issues., • Calculate, track, and report product costs., • Manage and report personnel and labor expenses for production staff., • Educational background as a Confectionery/Foods major (over 6 months courses in Culinary School)., • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience (Bakery/Café experience preferred), • Knowledge on food producing processes, sanitation, and quality programs, • Knowledge on food producing techniques, food microbiology, and food sanitary safety practice and procedures, • Food Manufacturing Practices (GMP), HACCP Principles, ISO 9000, and baking related regulatory knowledge, • Skills in root cause analysis, problem solving, ability in applying technical principles to project management, • Passion for people!
