Job Description Position Summary: The Marketing Manager is a strategic and versatile professional responsible for driving integrated marketing and communications initiatives that enhance brand positioning and support business growth across both Castle Lanterra’s corporate brand and its in-house property management arm, Pontis Property Management. This role combines high-level strategic thinking with hands-on management of key marketing platforms. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the Marketing Manager will oversee a select portfolio of multifamily assets, being the go-to for Operations and Onsite teams, while also taking the lead to Public Relations efforts as the company builds a more robust corporate marketing framework. The Marketing Manager will lead strategic initiatives to strengthen brand and online presence, drive qualified traffic to support leasing efforts, lead vendor relationships, maintain digital platforms, and effectively manage budgets. The ideal candidate is proactive, collaborative, and capable of delivering impactful outcomes that elevate the company’s reputation and market presence. Key Responsibilities: Strategy & Campaign Management • Collaborate with the Director of Marketing to develop and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns that align with business goals., • Implement and manage targeted location-based marketing and SEO strategies to reach specific audiences and drive engagement and conversions in key markets., • Proactively optimize paid advertising channels in line with occupancy trends, monitor organic search visibility, and manage brand representation across AI platforms like ChatGPT and Gemini., • Review organic and paid campaign performance metrics, analyze data, and provide recommendations for optimization and improved ROI., • Compile and distribute monthly property performance reports summarizing website analytics, SEO, and paid campaign results to Operations and Onsite teams, followed by monthly review meetings to discuss continued strategic efforts. Platform & Vendor Management • Implementation and Management o Oversee the implementation, onboarding, and ongoing optimization of marketing platforms, integrations, along with all ILS and other paid advertising channels. o Manage data integrity and ensure seamless integration and continued syndication between our PMS/CRM and other marketing technology tools. • Serve as the primary liaison between the marketing department and the IT team or PMS representatives, and oversee transitions, updates, and new user onboarding to existing platforms., • Assist with bugs and troubleshooting efforts for all digital marketing platforms connected to the portfolio, working with vendor support and communicating updates to our Operations and Onsite teams., • Vendor Management & Budget Management o Manage relationships with third-party vendors and agencies, including scheduled performance reviews and contract negotiations/renewals. o Oversee and manage the digital marketing budget for individual assets within the portfolio, ensuring fiscal responsibility. Decision Support & Collaboration • Provide valuable insights to help the Director of Marketing make informed decisions regarding technology investments, campaign strategies, and vendor selections., • Assist the Director of Marketing across their core responsibilities, special projects, and daily operational tasks as needed. Corporate Communications & Content • Lead the effort to build a more robust corporate communications and public relations program to increase brand recognition, enhance brand positioning and awareness, and establish a thought-leadership presence., • Work with our PR vendor to build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, influencers, and media outlets to secure press coverage and pitches., • Oversee the creation of engaging content including press releases, media pitches, social media content, and other marketing materials, ensuring consistent brand execution across all channels., • Update existing and develop new corporate collateral, including company overview, investment opportunity, and fundraising decks, using established Adobe InDesign templates., • Assist with corporate SEO efforts and collaborate with vendors to optimize and refresh corporate website copy and digital content while identifying new opportunities to enhance performance and ROI., • Assist in managing and responding to public perception, handling reputational risks, and leading crisis communication efforts to protect brand image. Additional Responsibilities: • Perform additional duties assigned by direct supervisor and upper-level management. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, public relations or related field., • 3+ years of progressive multifamily marketing experience, preferred., • Highly skilled in paid marketing campaigns, Google Ads and Analytics, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for Operations and Onsite teams., • Experience in real estate, property management, or related industry strongly preferred., • Hands-on experience with Yardi platforms (CRMIQ, Rent café, Site Manager) strongly preferred., • Strong graphic design skills experienced in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) strongly preferred., • Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to bridge the gap between marketing, technology, and vendors. Ability to serve as a company spokesperson if required., • A proactive approach to problem solving and a strategic mindset that aligns with technology solutions with marketing and PR goals., • Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams and external partners.
