Job DescriptionSummary: The Account Manager will work as a field representative of Apotheco Pharmacies to ensure a positive customer experience and improve utilization where applicable. Account Manager will be solely responsible for customer relations within the designated Mid-West Texas Territory. Account Manager will work with District Manager and necessary Pharmacists on business plans for maintaining and developing current customer base. Account Manager will manage time in field and administratively to meet requirements of account maintenance and development. Education/Experience/Training: • Strong Communication skills., • Ability to effectively develop and build relationships with customers/individuals at all levels of an organization., • Proficient in Word, Excel, and ability to learn necessary programs for sales tools., • 2-5 Years of relevant field sales experience, • Experience in Dermatology a plus. Duties and Responsibilities: They include the following, other duties may be assigned; Account Management: 1. Plan, strategize and execute necessary territory objectives to meet all sales goals as set by the managements team., 2. Understand pharmacy programs, operations, and necessary offers to effectively communicate pharmacy benefits and services., 3. Quickly learn and understand new initiatives, programs and / or pricing changes., 4. Ensure all field materials are current week to week., 5. Identify marketing needs and proactively bring to management., 6. Lead and execute development of project goals and timelines for accounts., 7. Assist with executing new programs/initiatives at all pharmacies/accounts., 8. Operate as the lead point of contact for accounts within specified geography for all matters related to pharmacy utilization., 9. Build daily and weekly schedules to meet with accounts., 10. Understand the unique features of each account/practice., 11. Acts as a consultative business partner, continually identifying opportunities to improve the customer’s business through increased utilization of service/programs/solutions., 12. Takes lead on operational management of onboarding new accounts., 13. Clearly communicate the services our pharmacy locations can offer patients/accounts and uncover how our services match account needs., 14. Develop plans alongside account decision makers/ providers for improved utilization., 15. Collaborate with providers and staff to improve pharmacy communication., 16. Proactively anticipates, investigates, and resolves customer issues both in the field and remotely via phone. Along with Pharmacist, responsible for “end to end” total issue resolution and developing and executing an independent plan to ensure customer satisfaction. Collaboration/Planning: 1. Build out customer profiles for pharmacists and pharmacy technicians., 2. Along with Pharmacist, identify areas of improvement within accounts., 3. Collaborate with pharmacists at each location to create short- and long-term plans. Identify accounts for maintenance, growth, and new business on a quarterly basis., 4. Collaborate and communicate with Pharmacist/Pharmacy techs as needed., 5. Facilitate account education events as needed., 6. Effectively collaborate with industry colleagues including pharmaceutical & manufacturing partners., 7. Account Manager will have regular meetings with Business Development Manager and Pharmacist to review accounts, present on current account standings and possible business strategies., 8. Coordinates closely with Pharmacists for unified communication to accounts., 9. Assist in onboarding new accounts for new Pharmacy locations. Director of Sales Engineering Role: As a member of the company’s Sales Engineering team, the Director of Sales Engineering is an individual contributor position requiring advanced knowledge and expertise within the data center industry. This role supports internal stakeholders, including the General Manager for the Boston and New York markets, Operations directors, sales teams, as well as external clients. Responsibilities include architecting and presenting technical solutions, serving as an escalation point for complex client or sales engineering issues, and assisting with the successful development and closing of sales opportunities. The Director contributes to the effectiveness of the sales process by participating in joint sales calls, providing product and solution demonstrations, supporting smooth transitions from pre-sales to implementation, and assisting with post-sales project management related activities as required. Additional responsibilities include evaluating business processes to ensure quality, consistency, and profitability of deals, as well as providing structured feedback to Product and Marketing teams to refine solution offerings. While the role carries no direct headcount or management oversight, it requires demonstrated leadership through subject matter expertise, proactive engagement, and the ability to operate independently to enhance overall sales performance.
