Job Description & Requirements • Specialty: Interventional Radiology Technologist, • Discipline: Allied Health Professional, • Start Date: 12/05/2025, • Duration: 13 weeks, • 40 hours per week, • Shift: 8 hours, days, • Employment Type: Travel Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist Location: Burbank, CA Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day – 5×8-hour shifts (07:00–15:30), on-call required Job Responsibilities: Perform a wide range of interventional radiology procedures, including abdominal, pelvic, vascular, and genitourinary interventions. Scrub, circulate, and assist physicians during complex IR procedures, maintaining sterile technique at all times. Set up rooms and equipment for IR procedures and support vascular closure systems (Perclose, StarClose). Perform endovascular interventions, embolizations, angiograms, biopsies, drain placements, stent insertions, and related IR procedures. Provide safe and effective patient care during all phases of IR procedures. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and float as needed across facilities within the state. Participate in an on-call rotation (minimum 12 call days per 6-week schedule). Required Skills & Qualifications: Experience: Minimum 1–2 years Interventional Radiology experience Certifications: BLS, ACLS, California Fluoroscopy Permit, California State License Clinical Competency: Cerebral case scrubbing experience (required) Proficiency in: Angiography (including adrenal, renal, pelvic, mesenteric, selective visceral) Aortography Angioplasty Stent placement Embolization & chemoembolization ERCP Liver biopsy Paracentesis & thoracentesis IVC filter placement/removal Nephrostomy, cholecystostomy, gastrostomy Ureteral/renal arterial stent placement Uterine artery embolization Other GU and vascular interventions Ability to scrub, circulate, and maintain sterile fields Experience with IR equipment setup and vascular closure devices Other Requirements:\nMust be willing to take call, including weekends\nNo pending license accepted\nRTO must be provided at submission\nMust be able to float to other facilities within the state\n\nPreferred Skills\nPrior travel experience\nStrong experience across a wide range of IR procedures\nFlexibility with schedule and floating requirements About HonorVet Technologies HonorVet Technologies: Pioneering Purpose, Empowering Heroes Founded in 2015, HonorVet Technologies stands as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), proudly certified by NaVOBA and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
