Job Description Construction Driver (San Diego, CA) Lead Marine San Diego San Diego, CA, USA Part Time - 2 days a week $18.00 - $25.00/hr 1st Shift – 6:00am to 2:30pm We are currently seeking a Driver that will transport material to and from vendors, the warehouse, and job sites. The Driver will also provide general help in the warehouse as needed to aid in the day-to-day functions here in San Diego. Responsibilities: • Pick up material from vendors and verify the contents against the purchase order., • Deliver materials to the warehouse and job sites and verify against the materials lists., • Clean and organize the warehouse as needed., • Gather materials from shop stock for jobs and label all bags and/or boxes of material., • Assist warehouse manager process material returns from job sites., • Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record is required., • Current, or able to qualify for non-CDL DOT endorsement., • Minimum 1 year of Warehouse or material delivery driver experience is preferred., • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products., • Ability to interact and communicate in a professional manner with team members, customers, vendors, etc., • Must be self-motivated and demonstrate the ability to contribute to team operations, performing all work in an efficient, organized, and cost-effective manner. Physical Requirements: • While performing the essential functions of this job the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands or arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and is occasionally required to lift and/or move heavy objects., • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds., • Comfortable working in various environments, including industrial facilities, commercial buildings, and outdoor settings, which can potentially expose employees to noise, dust, heat stress, thermal stress, low light conditions, heights, etc., • Capable of standing, walking, bending, and kneeling for extended periods.
