Job DescriptionJob Title: Warehouse Associate / Local Delivery DriverJob Summary We’re seeking a dependable Warehouse Associate / Local Delivery Driver to support daily warehouse operations and complete accurate, on‑time local deliveries to customers and suppliers. This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys hands‑on work, takes pride in safety and organization, and values delivering excellent customer service. You’ll split your time between warehouse duties and driving a company‑owned box truck for local routes. What You’ll DoWarehouse & Inventory Support • Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders with a high level of accuracy, • Receive inbound shipments and verify quantities and condition, • Stock materials in designated bin locations and maintain organized storage, • Perform inventory counts, tracking, and verification activities, • Operate RF scanners and warehouse equipment to support daily operations, • Maintain a clean, safe, and well‑organized warehouse environmentDriving & Delivery Responsibilities, • Safely operate company‑owned vehicles for local deliveries and pickups, • Load and unload materials, ensuring proper handling and placement, • Follow assigned delivery routes and schedules to meet customer expectations, • Obtain required delivery and pick‑up signatures and ensure documentation accuracy, • Keep delivery vehicles clean, organized, and customer‑ready, • Promptly report vehicle maintenance needs, incidents, or accidentsCustomer & Team Support, • Represent the company professionally during all customer interactions, • Communicate clearly and courteously with customers, coworkers, and supervisors, • Escalate damaged materials, shortages, or customer concerns as needed, • Attend department and company meetings as requested, • Assist with additional warehouse or delivery tasks based on business needsWhat We’re Looking ForRequired Skills & Experience, • Previous warehouse or industrial supply experience, • Valid driver’s license with a good driving record, • Strong commitment to safety policies and procedures, • Experience operating a sit‑down forklift, • Familiarity with inventory control, order picking, and material handling, • Ability to use RF scanners and warehouse technology, • Ability to lift and handle materials within required weight limits, • Strong attention to detail and time management skills, • Reliable, punctual, and able to meet delivery schedules consistentlyPreferred Qualifications, • Experience in an industrial supply or distribution environment, • Comfort working in a fast‑paced, hands‑on warehouse setting, • Customer‑service mindset with a professional demeanor, • Willingness to learn, attend training, and take on varied responsibilitiesWhy You’ll Like Working Here, • Join a stable, long‑standing company serving commercial, industrial, and marine customers since 1919, • Consistent daytime schedule with local deliveries — no long‑haul driving, • Opportunities to build skills in warehouse operations and professional driving, • Supportive, team‑oriented environment with experienced coworkers, • Exposure to a wide range of products, customers, and operations Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
