SUMMARY: We have an immediate opportunity for a Construction Project Manager for our Owner Representative/Project Management Division in our Miami, FL location. We are looking for a candidate with experience in identifying critical issues relevant to a project’s success from pre-construction planning and procurement through project execution and close-out. The ideal candidate will provide insight into processes that improve project performance, analyzing estimates, budgets, schedules, contracts, control systems, and then integrating those pieces into an efficient whole to support successful project completion. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES: • Ensuring the successful completion of project objectives on-time and within budget., • Attend Condominium Board and Association membership meetings to discuss details of projects as well as coordinating meetings with contractors and design professionals., • Prepare and present comprehensive presentations to convey all project related information to the Condominium Board and Community., • Prepare and track agendas, minutes, and action items for all project-related meetings., • Produce regularly scheduled communications in the form of weekly updates and monthly progress reports to convey all project related information to Board and Community., • Prepare and deliver Requests for Proposals for the solicitation of all project participants as well as analyze Proposals solicited from all project participants., • Review all project construction contracts and provide feedback and recommendations., • Review/analyze all deliverables including project plans and specifications, shop drawings, material spec books, contractor submittals, etc., and provide feedback and recommendations to maximize design and cost efficiencies and avoid delays and deviations from the client’s anticipated project outcome., • Prepare detailed overall project schedules, budgets, cashflow budgets, and pay app/invoice tracking sheets to properly track and project all project-related financials., • Perform monthly budget and schedule reconciliation exercises to maintain up-to-date financials and timelines associated with the project., • Perform site inspections to ensure quality workmanship and compliance with contractual obligations., • Lead weekly Owner/Architect-Engineer/Contractor meetings and provide solutions to potential issues related to the project. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This position entails no supervisory responsibilities. Job Description POSITION PURPOSE: The Case Manager is responsible for receiving referrals and coordinating wrap around services for youth ages 11 to 21 with a mental health or co-occurring substance abuse diagnosis with other risk factors such as being at risk for out of home placement, involvement with the legal system, truancy and poor academic performance or multiple hospitalizations. The Case Manager will evaluate, monitor, link and advocate for youth and families to optimize functioning, increase self-sufficiency, enhance natural supports and strengthen skills. POSITION REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS: Education/Experience: Graduate from an accredited College or University with a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in the human service filed and have a minimum of one year of full time experience working with youth experiencing serious mental illness. Licensure / Certification: DCF/CCMS State Certified or eligible. Maintain current CPR certification from the American Heart Association. Must have a valid Florida Driver’s License. Skills / Ability: Possess knowledge of community resources, Community-Based Organizations and private providers of services to optimize the functions of individual eligible to receive management services. Good documentation skills, computer literate, ability to work independently, excellent interpersonal and communication skills. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES (THIS IS A NON-EXEMPT POSITION)  Provide community-based services to children ages 11 to 21 with mental health or co-occurring substance abuse diagnosis with any additional circumstances including at risk for out of home placement; having two or more hospitalizations; involvement with Department of Juvenile Justice or other law enforcement; or poor academic performance or suspensions  Maintain case load of no more than 20 youth.  Evaluate and discuss with supervisor consumer’s continued program eligibility as established by CAT Guidance Document  Maintain documentation as per CAT Guidance Document and other state and federal regulatory guidelines.  Develop and maintain resource database to facilitate linkage, brokerage, and access to resources for youth and family. Have knowledge of other Network Service Providers and coordinate referrals when necessary.  Provide goal oriented and individualized supports through assessment, planning, linkage, advocacy, coordination, and monitoring.  Maintain communication with Network Service Providers and resources within the community to support youth and family goals.  Develop Comprehensive Assessment and Comprehensive Service Plans reflecting individualized measurable goals (within 30 days).  Monitors and updates Comprehensive Service Plans when there is a change in youth’s life or as appropriate. At a minimum the Plan must be updated every 6 months. The Service Plan will address important issues including child development education, parent individual functioning, family/parenting functioning and community resources.  Complete a home visit during the development of the Comprehensive Assessment and prior to the completion of the CSP; and conduct home visits for every consumer if it is approved by the consumer.  Prepares and maintain documentation in compliance with contracting and regulatory agencies and not limited to verbal instructions from direct supervisory staff.  Maintains consistent productivity, at least 80% of the established agency goal, per month.  Maintain communication with other key entities including but not limited to child welfare, juvenile justice, corrections, and special education.  If youth is served by child welfare, maintain communication with members of their treatment team including child welfare Case Manager and guardian ad litem (if assigned).  Assume responsibility for the maintenance and auditing of all assigned youth Case Management records.  Participate in treatment and/or multidisciplinary teams, department meetings, multidisciplinary, supervision meetings, and audit preparation meetings. Respond to any identified needs by making referral(s) and following up with linkages to ensure success.  Procure contingency funds as provided by DCF procedures.  Attends in-service and seminars to improve knowledge and skills regarding position.  Attends mandatory in-service training within prescribed time frame.  Reports on a timely manner as requested by supervisor.  Coordinate and assist youth in obtaining necessary transportation.  Maintains strong interpersonal relationship with peers, supervisor, and other department personnel.  Participates in BHCC’s Committee Meetings.  Provides coverage in the absent of peers and maintains collaborative teamwork.  Provide liaison and support to families/care givers of consumers, maximizing their involvement in the Case Management planning progress.  Monitor consumer compliance with substance abuse treatment recommendations and develop alternative plan of service if necessary.  Report incidences and/or occurrences within the proper time frame as establish by CHI Policies and Procedures.  Monitors and advocates for youth and family needs while at CSUs, hospitals or RTF and upon discharge.  Participate in CHI activities and special events as available, i.e. culture day, health fairs, holiday celebrations, etc.  Collaborate in crisis management situations with other BHCC staff, consumers and appropriate community supports.  Develop and obtain housing resources within the community and share information with peers.  Complete and submits weekly a daily report of activities to the supervisor.  Communicates and solves problems through the proper chain of command.  Provides services in a sensitive non-judgmental and non-discriminatory manner to a diverse population.  Provide case management services for residents of the Shelter Care Plus Program(s).  Attend HMIS User meetings as directed/necessary.  Access, update and maintain consumer information in the HMIS Service System.  Prepare and maintain all documentation in compliance with Shelter Plus Program and provide input and support to appropriate staff when needed for grant submission/review/renew.  Adheres to Confidentiality Policies and Procedures / HIPAA Regulations.  Provides accurate and timely documentation in patient charts within the same day of intervention.  Reports to work on time and ready to work with minimal absenteeism.  Calls and report to supervisor when absence/tardy due to illness and/or family emergencies.  Promotes a positive work environment.  Maintains flexibility regarding expected or unexpected changes in the work environment.  Responds to administrative task appointments.  Performs other duties as assigned.
