Job Description The Project Manager-Security & Surveillance Systems is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and successful delivery of networking, enterprise systems (AXIS/access controls, security systems, access Control Systems software and hardware, Surveillance (CCTV/VMS Systems), and audio-visual (AV) system) implementations installation commercial projects nationwide. This role manages all aspects of projects involving surveillance systems, access control, and integrated security technologies, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The Project Manager serves as the primary point of contact for clients, vendors, and internal teams, coordinating resources and maintaining clear communication throughout the project lifecycle. This position requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and a solid understanding of security system technologies, particularly IP-based solutions. This role is responsible for managing projects from initial planning through completion, ensuring high-quality delivery, adherence to timelines and budgets, and exceptional customer satisfaction. Job Responsibilities: • Manage full project lifecycle from kick-off through closeout, • Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations, • Coordinate installation teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure project milestones are met, • Coordinate AV, security and surveillance, and access control implementations, • Ensure compliance with manufacturer specifications and industry standards, • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, • Review project scope, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate implementation, • Develop and maintain project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation plans, • Serve as the primary liaison between clients, internal teams, and stakeholders, • Conduct site walks and pre-installation meetings to assess project requirements, • Monitor project progress and proactively address risks, delays, or issues, • Ensure all installations meet company standards, industry regulations, and client expectations, • Oversee system commissioning, testing, and final project hand-off, • Manage change orders, project documentation, and reporting, • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company policies, • Provide leadership, guidance, and support to technicians and field teams, • Maintain strong client relationships and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, • Build and maintain long-term customer relationships, • Provide regular project updates, status reports, and issue resolution, • Manage security system projects from initiation through completion, including planning, scheduling, and execution, • Ensure customer satisfaction throughout all phases of the project, • Lead field technicians, subcontractors, and internal teams, • Coordinate with engineering, sales, and operations teams, • Manage change orders and scope adjustments., • Ensure all personnel follow safety protocols and training standards, • Support training and knowledge transfer to end-users upon project completion, • Ensure installations meet quality standards and certifications, • Oversee testing, documentation, and system validation, • Maintain compliance with safety standards including ladder/lift safety, fire-stopping, and hazardous environments, • Monitor project budgets, costs, profitability, identify risks and implement mitigation strategies Requirements • 3+ years of field project management experience in security and surveillance systems, low voltage electrical systems, and access controls., • Able to program AXIS Communications security systems, LENEL S2, and OPEN OPTIONS access control solutions., • Knowledge with Security Systems & Video Surveillance Systems, IP based Cameras, PTZ, infrared and POE Camera systems, NVR based solutions, System Integrations with Access Controls, cloud-based remote access solutions, preferably, exacqVision and Eagle Eye., • Prior experience with Atlona, Epson, NEC, Samsung, and Sony Audio & Visual solutions and web video conferencing, desired., • Must have prior experience with installing, troubleshooting, and repairing Surveillance and security and access control systems., • Experienced with project scheduling, bids, take-offs, change orders, estimating, managing project budgets, and contracts., • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills., • Experience working with subcontractors, vendors, and technical teams., • PMP Certification (preferred not required), • Experience with nationwide or multi-site deployments (preferred), • Familiarity with systems, • Knowledge of building codes and safety standards, • Comfortability with combination of office, field, and regional travel-based work, • Manage security system projects from initiation through completion, including planning, scheduling, and execution, • Coordinate installation teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure project milestones are met, • Review project scope, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate implementation, • Develop and maintain project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation plans, • Serve as the primary liaison between clients, internal teams, and stakeholders, • Conduct site walks and pre-installation meetings to assess project requirements, • Monitor project progress and proactively address risks, delays, or issues, • Ensure all installations meet company standards, industry regulations, and client expectations, • Oversee system commissioning, testing, and final project hand-off, • Manage change orders, project documentation, and reporting, • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company policies, • Provide leadership, guidance, and support to technicians and field teams, • Maintain strong client relationships, subcontractor relationships, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, • Prior experience in the construction, IT Infrastructure, Communications, Networking, and/or Security Systems Industries.Company DescriptionWe’re Infinia Search.
