Job Description Pride Health is hiring a phlebotomist to support our client’s medical facility in Harrington Park, NJ. This is a 3+ month contract with the possibility of a contract-to-hire opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization! Title: Phlebotomist II Location: Harrington Park, NJ 07640 Pay Rate: $18 - $21.80/hr. on W2. Shift: Monday 8:30-5:30, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 8:30-4:00, Wednesday 8:30-5:00 Duration: 3+ Months *Pay Rate is based on experience and educational qualifications. Job Responsibilities: • Perform venipuncture and capillary puncture to collect blood specimens from patients of all ages., • Ensure patient comfort and safety during the collection process., • Accurately label specimens and complete requisition forms., • Adhere to standardized procedures for waived testing, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of results, • Properly handle and store specimens to maintain sample integrity., • Follow protocols for specimen transport and disposal, • Perform electrocardiograms (EKGs) as directed by healthcare providers., • Apply electrodes and monitor patients during the procedure to ensure quality tracings., • Prepare and verify manifests for specimens being sent to external laboratories or for transportation purposes. Job Requirements: • Ability to provide quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision., • Excellent phlebotomy skills to include pediatric and geriatric., • Flexible and available based on staffing needs, which includes weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime., • Must demonstrate Superior Customer Focus; ability to communicate openly and transparently with peers, supervisors, and patients; ability to accelerate and embrace change; and knowledge of our business. Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent. Job Description Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist-I to support our client’s medical facility, which is based in Scarsdale, NY, US 10583 This is a Contract job with a possible extension opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization! Location: Scarsdale, NY US 10583 Schedule: Monday - Friday 08:00 am to 4:00 pm with rotational weekends (40hours/week) Pay Range: $17 - $21 (Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.) The rate is based on years of DIRECT EXPERIENCE as listed in the resume Roles & Responsibilities: • Perform venipuncture and capillary blood sampling with precision and care., • Ensure proper identification of patients prior to blood collection., • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to laboratory procedures and safety protocols., • Accurately label and document specimens for testing in accordance with medical terminology standards., • Label, process, and transport blood specimens accurately and efficiently in compliance with CLIA, OSHA, and HIPAA standards. Required Education: • High school diploma or equivalent REQUIRED, • Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred., • Phlebotomy certification is REQUIRED Work Experience: • Minimum of 6 months of experience REQUIRED., • One (+) year of phlebotomy experience is preferred., • Customer service in a retail or service environment is preferred., • Keyboard/data entry experience is a must.
