Job Description Job Title: Medical Monitor Location: Remote Duration: 12 months Description: ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES • The Medical Monitor Contractor will serve as a critical member of the clinical team, responsible for ensuring the integrity and quality of clinical data and supporting clinical oversight activities. QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS • Medical degree (MD, DO, MBBS, or equivalent) required., • Preferred: At least 2 years of direct patient care experience post-residency., • Comfortable with complex medical reviews involving pediatric, adult, and obstetrical populations, • Required: Prior experience as a medical monitor, including:, • Safety data review (non-serious and serious AEs)., • Experience on an interventional clinical trial within the past 3 years (Vaccine trials preferred but not required)., • Familiarity with EDC platforms (InForm or RedCap preferred)., • Experience with J Review or a similar data review system is preferred., • Strong ability to critically evaluate medical/scientific information., • Understanding of clinical study design, development, and execution., • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel., • Fluency in English (written and spoken)., • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and evolving environment., • Training and experience in infectious diseases and/or infection control in a hospital setting is preferred. This position is primarily responsible for the oversight of maintenance and custodial staff across several program locations throughout the borough. Key Responsibilities • Manage the day-to-day operations of the Commercial Sewer Cleaning Division, ensuring crews, equipment, and schedules are aligned to meet customer commitments and profitability goals., • Plan and control daily/weekly scheduling and dispatch, including emergency/on-call coverage in a 24/7 service environment., • Directly supervise field leadership and crews (foremen, operators, techs, drivers): coaching, performance management, training coordination, and accountability., • Serve as the primary office-based point of control for job planning, routing, work order flow, and real-time coordination with the field., • Oversee customer communication and service execution, including handling escalations and ensuring professional, timely resolution., • Review and approve job scopes, proposals/work orders, and field documentation, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and on-time deliverables—especially CCTV reports., • Track operational KPIs (productivity, labor utilization, job costing, margins) and adjust staffing/equipment deployment to remove bottlenecks., • Ensure safety and compliance across all operations (OSHA practices, traffic control, confined space protocols as applicable); support incident reporting and corrective actions., • Coordinate fleet and equipment readiness: preventative maintenance, repairs, inspections, vendor coordination, and uptime planning., • Lead operations across key service lines, including:, • Jet/Vac jetting & vacuum services (sanitary/storm, catch basins, grease/sand/silt removal, obstruction removal, etc.), • CCTV/TV inspections and pipe locating (2”–72” lines; reporting/deliverables), • Grease trap maintenance and pumping programs, • Sewage pump and pit cleaning/repairs/installations, • 5+ years in sewer/drain/underground utility operations with at least 2–3 years in a supervisory/lead role (or equivalent operations management experience)., • Working knowledge of Jet/Vac operations and/or CCTV inspection workflows., • Familiarity with producing or reviewing CCTV inspection reports and documenting findings., • Strong scheduling/dispatching skills and ability to manage multiple crews and emergency calls., • Solid communication skills with customers, vendors, and field teams., • Valid driver’s license (CDL a plus—especially for vacuum/jetting environments)., • Competitive salary commensurate with experience and qualifications., • Benefits package including 401K, health insurance, retirement plan, paid time off, paid holidays etc., • Stable, long-term role with a 50+ year, family-owned company as part of a multi-division organization generating over $100M in annual revenue. Essential Job Duties Under the Direction of the On-Site Technician: 1. Inspect building, grounds and equipment for unsafe or malfunctioning conditions., 2. This involves normal lubrication, adjustment, cleaning, replacement of consumable parts (such as filters, belts, indicator lights, etc.), and periodic testing of the equipment. These systems include, but are not limited to air handling units, re-circulating air systems, water pumping systems, cooling plant and its associated mechanics and all plumbing system components., 3. Assist with installation and modification of building equipment systems., 4. Respond quickly to emergency situations., 5. Perform basic electrical and plumbing repairs and troubleshooting., 6. Perform basic mechanical projects., 7. Assist with all assigned work to ensure the safety of the building's tenants and the continuous operation of the site., 8. Prioritize service calls and follow-up upon completion., 9. Coordinate maintenance efforts with outside contractors and technicians when work cannot be performed in-house. Coordinate contractor, tenant and management approvals for work orders that require the use of an outside contractor., 10. Order parts and supplies as required and maintain stock and inventory control., 11. Be responsive to tenant complaints in the areas of safety, plumbing, mechanical, electrical and environmental needs through both personal contact and work order systems., 12. Be familiar with and conform to all written operating procedures associated with site., 13. Ensure the cleanliness and appearance of all work areas., 14. Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times, keep calm demeanor in emergency situations and act as a team member., 15. Perform other duties as assigned.
