Job DescriptionBenefits: • 401(k), • Opportunity for advancement, • Paid time off Position Summary An Education Management Company (LMIS) is seeking a caring, dependable, and enthusiastic Assistant Toddler Teacher to support the developmental needs of children ages 18 months to 3 years. The ideal candidate is patient, nurturing, and excited to help young children learn through hands-on exploration in a supportive early childhood environment. Responsibilities • Assist the Lead Teacher with implementing daily curriculum and activities., • Supervise and engage toddlers in developmentally appropriate learning experiences., • Support routines including feeding, diapering, and toilet training while maintaining proper hygiene., • Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom in compliance with licensing standards., • Observe children and communicate relevant updates to the Lead Teacher., • Promote a calm, positive, and respectful environment for all children., • Collaborate with staff to ensure consistent care and communication., • Maintain confidentiality and follow school policies and procedures. Desired Experience • One year of experience working with toddlers or in a licensed childcare environment preferred., • Basic understanding of early childhood development or interest in learning Montessori-based practices., • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and participate actively in classroom and outdoor activities. Qualifications • High school diploma or equivalent required., • CDA credential or Early Childhood coursework preferred but not required., • Must pass all required state background checks and fingerprinting., • Reliable, punctual, and able to follow direction while working as part of a team. Compensation • Hourly rate: $16.50 to $19.00, depending on experience and qualifications.
