Job Description Job Title: Direct Support Professional/One-on-One Reports to: Residential Manager Primary Responsibilities: To use best practices and technology within a community based residential setting to teach individuals with I/DD and behavioral challenges, how to acquire the physical, intellectual, emotional, and social skills needed to live as independently as possible. This position will be utilized as a direct support one-on-one staff which will be assigned to a specific resident to support their one-on-one needs. This position does have the option to work in schedule as a Direct Support Professional without a one-on-one assignment when additional hours are available. If a hired Direct Support Professional/One-on-One staff works in shift without a one-on-one assignment, that employee will be paid the rate of a DSP employee. Specific Responsibilities: 1. Provide one-on-one behavioral and direct care support to individuals in a residential and community setting., 2. Provide a safe and supportive environment for individuals in their home and community., 5. Collaborate with individuals care team to carry out their treatment and behavior intervention plan and assist with day-to-day tasks to ensure health and overall well-being of individuals., 6. Assist with the development of independence skills based on the need of each individual. 7. Assists to the extent needed by the individual in all daily living skills., 7. Advocates for the individual including fostering healthy relationships with peers and staff., 8. Communicate effectively and efficiently with guardians, parents and support personnel based on the needs of the individuals., 9. Administers medication and completes documentation of same., 10. Transports individuals to and from medical appointments and documents all information from appointments., 11. Assists the individuals in developing a support network within the community., 12. Assists individuals with identifying and/or accompanying them to social and recreational activities within the community., 13. As needed, will transport individuals to appointments, shopping and other activities, 14. Accurately completes all mandatory in-house documentation., 15. Participates in IDT meetings for personal future planning as requested., 16. Completes all duties as delegated by the Residential Manager/Director, Residential Services., 17. Prefer associate degree or higher or high school diploma (or equivalent) plus two years’ experience working with people with developmental disabilities., • Must have a Driver’s license valid in the state of New Jersey. Job Description Oversees daily operations of the JCC amenities and ensures that they are operating properly for the use of our JCC members. Greet members using the second-floor wing of Fitness and Wellness and aide in any questions or services the member may need. Job Description Position Summary: The Philadelphia Department of Public Health (PDPH), through its COVID-19 Services Program in the Division of Disease Control, is responsible for continued COVID-19/SARS CoV-2 response and mitigation within Philadelphia. The program works to educate residents of COVID-19, develop policies to slow the spread of disease, provide infection control guidance to institutions, and work with partners to address other ongoing public health issues related to COVID-19 in the City of Philadelphia. To strengthen containment efforts and to ensure equitable access to rapid COVID-19 testing in underserved areas of the city, the COVID Containment Program has established COVID-19 Resource Hubs where people can be tested for COVID-19, pick up a rapid antigen test to use at home, and be connected to a variety of other public health services and education. The COVID- 19 Resource Hub Response Specialist is responsible for assisting the public with distribution of COVID-19 test kits, maintaining consistent hours of operation for the resource hubs, sharing community resource materials with visitors, and working seamlessly with other organizations that will provide services in the space. This position is full time, with a 5-day, 37.5 hour/week schedule based on the specific hub location assigned. During surge periods, this position may require flexibility to support tasks outside of your standard work duties, including in person support of vaccination, testing, and community events. Medical Assistant • Promote a professional and welcoming atmosphere that enhances the quality of service and care offered to patients and for the respective provider., • Have a thorough working knowledge of all standard operating protocols and policies that pertain to the clinical department, specifically within the allergy practice., • Have thorough knowledge of allergy treatments and procedures to appropriately care for the patient's needs. Proficient in pre-care and post-care treatment instructions for allergy testing and immunotherapy. Fully understand provider to patient flow and anticipate the provider's next steps., • Adapt to the provider's workflows and support the provider to maximize quality patient care and efficiency of the practice, including tasks such as scribing, managing patient records, and assisting with patient communication., • Check all allergy testing equipment at the beginning of each shift and maintain all treatment rooms, ensuring they are clean and stocked with necessary supplies., • Perform inventory responsibilities and stocking of allergy-related supplies and equipment as requested., • Complete all required training and continued education opportunities within the allotted time frame, with a focus on allergy care., • Assist the physician in allergy procedures, including skin prick tests, patch tests, spirometry, and immunotherapy injections. Prep exam rooms for all procedures and properly clean exam rooms after every visit., • Properly assist the provider in recording prescribed treatments, medications, lab requisitions, biopsies, cultures, photos, prescriptions, prior authorization, obtaining consents, and procedures within established guidelines., • Take payments, book follow-up visits, and track inventory used during visits as needed., • Learn and adhere to new workflows including Klara paperwork, patient notifications, and patient messaging., • Keep the office clean and remove waste., • Assist in covering the front desk or greeter role when the office needs., • Working knowledge and application of HIPAA & OSHA compliance., • May be asked to do additional tasks for office and patient care as needed., • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant required; experience in an allergy practice preferred, • Medical Assistant Certification required, • CPR and AED Certifications required., • Experience using EMR software and patient scheduling systems preferred, • Experience with allergy testing (skin prick, patch, and spirometry) preferred, • Must be computer savvy and familiar with Outlook, • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, • Excellent patient relations and customer services skills, • Strong follow up stills and ownership/accountability, • Must be professional, reliable, and dedicated employee, • Open availability to work during office and/or scheduled hours Schweiger Dermatology Group does not require vaccination for COVID-19 in order to be considered for employment; however, some state guidelines may require that we keep record of your vaccination status on file.
