About The Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and discreet Personal Accounting Manager to our CEO to manage his and family financial affairs. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, absolute confidentiality, and the ability to handle complex personal and investment-related financial matters. The ideal candidate will act as a trusted financial partner, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic financial organization. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Financial Management & Reporting • Manage day-to-day personal accounting, including accounts payable/receivable and cash flow tracking, • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and net worth reports, • Coordinate preparation and filing of personal, trust, and entity tax returns, • Work closely with external CPAs, tax advisors, and legal counsel, • Monitor investment accounts and coordinate with wealth managers, • Track performance, capital gains/losses, and asset allocations, • Create and manage personal and household budgets, • Oversee large purchases, recurring expenses, and lifestyle costs, • Maintain organized and secure financial records (digital and physical), • Ensure strict confidentiality of all financial and personal information, • Support audits, financial reviews, and special projects as needed Requirements and Qualifications: • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, • 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably supporting HNW individuals or family offices, • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting, • High proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Excel, personal finance platforms) Preferred • CPA or equivalent certification, • Experience in Real estate transactions and management of lessees, • Experience with trusts, estates, and multi-entity structures, • Experience in dealing with complex LLC structures, • Familiarity with investment reporting and real estate accounting Skills & Attributes • Exceptional discretion and integrity, • Highly organized with strong attention to detail, • Proactive, independent, and solution-oriented, • Strong communication skills and ability to work with advisors, • Comfortable handling sensitive and complex financial matters, • High standard of excellence Professional Presence & Standards • Maintain a professional appearance and dress in a manner consistent with a high-net-worth, client-facing environment, • Demonstrate the highest standards of excellence, discretion, and professionalism at all times, • Represent the principal and associated entities with integrity, sound judgment, and attention to detail, • Uphold a service-oriented mindset aligned with white-glove standards and confidentiality expectations Compensation: The annual salary range for this position is $80,000 to $110,000 plus opportunity for annual bonus; salary is based on the experience that you bring to the position. Location: This is an in-office position, minimum of 4 days per week in office with the option to work from home 1 day per week, in Irvine, CA. This work schedule is subject to change without notice as per company guidelines.
