Job DescriptionDescription: About the Role Cafe Operations Coordinators are responsible for guiding the cafe team to creating a welcoming, smooth, and high-quality guest experience. This role oversees the daily operations of the cafe including training and on-site supervision of the team, What You’ll Do • Work closely with the Assistant General Manager to hire, train, supervise, and support growth for all Cafe staff, • Foster a team culture of positivity, accountability, radical candor, and growth mindset, • Ordering food and supplies from vendors and pay invoices accurately and on-time, • Follow health, safety, and food handling guidelines, • Consistently demonstrate efficiencies in food preparation, • Maintain cleanliness of the cafe including dishes, tables, counters, and equipment, • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations Requirements: What You’ll Bring Required Qualifications • MAST Permit required within 60 days of employment, • Food Handlers Permit required within 14 days of employment, • 2+ years experience in food service or hospitality management, • Familiarity with health, safety, and sanitation regulations, • Certified Food Manager Certification, • Previous experience with Toast POS, • Experience developing recipes, menus, and rotating seasonal speciality items, • We know not everyone will meet 100% of the qualifications—if this role excites you, we encourage you to apply.
