American Traveler is seeking a travel Radiology Technician for a travel job in Rochester, New York. Job Description & Requirements • Specialty: Radiology Technician, • Discipline: Allied Health Professional, • Start Date: 05/25/2026, • Duration: 13 weeks, • 40 hours per week, • Shift: 10 hours, evenings, • Employment Type: Travel Assignment Overview • Shift: Evenings, 4x10hrs, • Hours: 40 hrs/wk, • Start Date: May 25, 2026, • Length: 13 weeks, • 528-bed tertiary care hospital setting, • Work settings include adult acute care, adult outpatient, pediatric outpatient, and bedside/portable procedures, • Procedures include routine chest and thorax, abdominal studies (KUB, supine, upright, decubitus), skull and orbital imaging, full spine (cervical, thoracic, lumbar), pelvis, upper and lower extremity studies, and C-arm procedures, • Equipment includes PACS and C-arm, • Charting is performed in Epic, • 4x10-hour weekend night shifts: Fridays 1:30 PM–12:00 AM, Saturday through Monday 3:00 PM–1:30 AM, • No on-call requirements, • May be required to float per facility policy up to 3 times during the contract, • Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligibleRequirements, • Minimum of 1 year of X-Ray Technologist experience, • Current ARRT certification and BLS required, • NY state license required if applicable, • Epic EMR experience required, • Teaching hospital experience preferred, • Trauma Level I or II experience preferred, • Travel experience required, • Must be able to perform isolation precautions and proper PPE usageAdditional Information, • First-time travelers are welcome to apply, • Navy blue scrubs required, • Candidates with more than 10 days of requested time off (RTO) may not be considered; all time-off requests should be disclosed upfront, • Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must have a gap of at least 1 year before returning With thousands of travel nursing and allied jobs nationwide, our attentive and approachable recruiters find positions that align perfectly with your career aspirations and personal requirements.
