Community Impact Program Manager (Resident Professional Program) Location: Corporate Office (Irving, TX) - Monday through Thursday in person. Remote Fridays. Reports To: Vice President, Strategic Initiatives Classification: Full-Time, Exempt Travel: Up to 30% About the Role ___ is looking for a personable, organized, and mission-driven Community Impact Program Manager to lead our Resident Professional Program across our portfolio. This role is ideal for someone who has owned program delivery in a nonprofit, education, afterschool, community engagement, resident services, or mission-focused environment and knows how to bring people, timelines, and outcomes together. In this role, you will oversee the full lifecycle of the Resident Professional Program, including recruitment, onboarding, program support, accountability, event coordination, and ongoing improvement. You will partner closely with onsite teams, Resident Professionals, local organizations, and internal departments to help deliver meaningful programs and events that strengthen resident connection and community engagement. This is a hands-on, people-centered program management role. The right person will be just as comfortable managing program details, deadlines, and reporting as they are visiting communities, chatting with residents, building excitement, and helping others feel invested in the mission. How You’ll Make an Impact • Oversee the full lifecycle of the Resident Professional Program, from recruitment and onboarding to program support, accountability, and continuous improvement., • Build strong relationships with Resident Professionals, onsite teams, residents, and local community partners to drive engagement and participation., • Coach and support Resident Professionals by setting clear expectations, reviewing event plans, providing feedback, and helping them deliver high-quality programs., • Coordinate portfolio-wide initiatives, including timelines, supplies, communications, marketing materials, event logistics, and follow-up., • Travel to communities to attend events, connect with residents and teams, capture content, and help generate excitement around the program., • Track program activity, organize documentation, and submit accurate reporting to help measure success and improve program impact. What Makes You a Great Fit • You have experience managing programs, initiatives, contractors, volunteers, field teams, or community-based services that support an organization’s mission., • You are highly personable and comfortable walking into a community, starting conversations, building trust, and getting people excited to participate., • You know how to balance big-picture mission with day-to-day execution., • You are organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, people, and moving parts., • You communicate clearly and professionally with different audiences, including residents, onsite teams, corporate partners, and community organizations., • You are resourceful, proactive, and comfortable solving problems without waiting for every answer to be handed to you., • You care about community impact and are motivated by work that improves connection, access, and quality of life for residents., • You are comfortable traveling up to 30% to support communities, events, and program implementation. Qualifications • 4+ years of experience in program management, nonprofit programs, afterschool programs, community engagement, property management, resident services, social work, education, outreach, or a related field., • Experience overseeing program delivery, field-based teams, volunteers, contractors, or community partners., • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage complex, multi-layered work independently., • Experience tracking, organizing, and reporting program data accurately and consistently., • Strong written and verbal communication skills., • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships across teams and communities., • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, presentation tools, and database or reporting systems., • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Social Services, Education, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience. Preferred Qualifications • Bilingual in Spanish., • Experience working in nonprofit, afterschool, resident services, affordable housing, education, social impact, or community-based programming., • Understanding of mission-driven program delivery and community impact strategies.
