Collects money (cash or checks) where required. Loads customer returns on to trailer and secures trailer doors. Ensures that tractor, trailer, and freight are appropriately locked and/or always secured. Unloads damaged goods and customer returns and bring to the driver check-in and complete necessary paperwork. Unloads all equipment, materials and remove trash from trailers as required. Completes daily record of hours of service and enter in log in accordance with Federal DOT, state, and company requirements. Position Purpose The CDL Driver - Hazmat is responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles to deliver products to customer locations or job sites, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries while following all DOT regulations. Defect & Incident Reporting: Promptly report any mechanical issues, accidents, traffic violations, or vehicle damage to supervision. Customer Service & Communication: Maintain professional communication with co-workers, customers, and the public; ensure timely, courteous deliveries and proper paperwork sign-offs. Site & Equipment Care: Keep vehicles clean, ensure any loading/unloading debris is promptly cleared, and report delivery or customer issues to management.
