Job Description Job Title: Office Manager Location: On-Site — Shawnee, Kansas Please note, this is not a remote or hybrid position. Overview The Office Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the office to ensure an efficient, organized, and positive work environment. This role supports leadership, coordinates administrative functions, manages office resources, and serves as a primary point of contact for employees, vendors, and visitors. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and able to handle a wide range of administrative and operational tasks with minimal supervision. Key Responsibilities • Office Operations & Administration, • Manage day-to-day office functions, including reception, mail handling, supply inventory, and facility maintenance., • Serve as the on-site point of contact for building management, service providers, and contractors., • Oversee office layout, cleanliness, and adherence to safety and physical-workspace standards., • Employee Support, • Provide administrative support to staff and leadership, including scheduling meetings, preparing documents, and coordinating internal communications., • Assist with onboarding tasks for new employees such as preparing workstations, setting up access badges, and orienting them to office procedures., • Coordinate office events, staff meetings, training sessions, and team-building activities., • Financial & Vendor Management, • Manage office-related expenses, review invoices, and work with accounting to ensure timely payment., • Maintain relationships with suppliers and negotiate service contracts when needed., • Track budgets for office supplies, equipment, and operational needs., • Compliance & Records, • Maintain organized records, including employee files, contracts, and administrative documents., • Ensure compliance with company policies as well as local safety and regulatory requirements., • Support HR processes such as attendance tracking, policy distribution, and documentation updates., • Technology & Systems Support, • Coordinate basic IT needs, including hardware setup, troubleshooting support tickets, and liaising with external IT partners., • Oversee office equipment maintenance, such as printers, conferencing systems, and network access. Qualifications To be considered for this position, candidates must meet these minimum qualifications. • 2–5 years of experience in office management, administrative support, or operational coordination, • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and basic office management software, • Experience working on-site in a professional office environment preferred.
