POSITION SUMMARY: The QI Coordinator will have dual reporting responsibility, to both the Program Director and MercyFirst’ s Performance $ Quality Improvement department. The QI Coordinator requires the ability to formulate and sustain positive working relationships while also promoting best practice and satisfaction of all requirements. This position requires an understanding of data integration and skills with such software as Excel and client management systems (such as CNNX) as well as an ability to review documentation, note positives, and address areas where performance has not met requirements/expectations. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: • A minimum of related bachelor’s degree with 3 years of related experience such as casework or clinician in child welfare., • Strong analytical and reporting skills as well as an ability to timely document., • Strong data management/integration, client integration skills. This position also involves the recruitment of new staff, onboarding/acclimating new staff through job supervision as well as official related training. Supervisors would be expected to develop and maintain current linkage lists of service providers in the community as referral sources. Supervisor can sign off on clinical hours earned in this position towards a clinical license. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: • The Supervisor holds a minimum of an LMSW with 5 years of related experience., • Strong leadership, administrative, and supervisory skills with the ability to monitor and implement high volumes of workflows, as well as leading an interdisciplinary team of 4 clinicians and a CASAC., • Familiarity with navigating electronic platforms such as Connections for documentation reviews and tracking of all data pertinent to facilitating best outcomes., • Strong working knowledge of mental health, substance use, and IPV. The ability guide and direct clinical staff in all 3 areas of practice, providing regular supervision and adherence to best practices., • As with all Child Welfare related positions, this role will require a robust background check, and a clean driving record is encouraged. POSITION SUMMARY: The Birth Parent Advocate will provide advocacy, support, and referral services for birth parents whose children are in foster care. The Parent Advocate helps the parent understand and navigate the foster care system, make decisions for their families, remain hopeful, and address family challenges so that they can accomplish their goal of reunification. The focus of this job is building connections with parents and working collaboratively with case planners. Each Parent Advocate will be assigned to a case planning unit and will support parents and bring their experience to the foster care agency decision-making process so that children safely return home. Parent Advocates with their own personal prior lived experience of the child welfare system will be effective in informing and supporting parents with children in foster care and help to improve outcomes for children and families.
