NBCG provides all the required training, certification, and credentialing requirements for selected applicants to become Registered Behavior Technicians!Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) are paraprofessionals who implement ABA treatment plans that are created by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). RBTs provide direct, one-on-one behavioral interventions to children and young adolescents diagnosed with autism to teach a variety of skills. A $500 bonus is paid out at 90 days of employment for bringing your experience to our team!, • Bonus system based on hours worked, bonuses for every pay period if youre working over 20 billable hours each week!, • Partial session pay received even when sessions are cancelled by clients., • Flexible block scheduling with morning, afternoon, and evening shifts, no holidays or weekend shifts!, • Continued education offered in house including safety care training, and monthly trainings on pertinent subjects in ABA, • Mileage reimbursement for driving from one work location to another, • Monthly RBT Social Activities including game nights and gift card raffles, • Referral bonuses of $50-$1000 depending on position filled and tenure., • Capella University Tuition Discount, • Internships for individuals pursuing their masters degree in ABA, • Paid Time Off, Sick Time, Paid Holidays, Health, Vision, Dental, Life Insurance, 401(k) with employer matching, Paid Paternal Leave depending on full or part time employment, • Tuition reimbursement up to $1,000 for employees enrolled in master programs seeking BCBA licensure after one year with NBCG Responsibilities (all under supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA): • Establishing and maintaining therapeutic relationship with clients and their guardians- caring for each client, showing consistency and compassion while keeping an attitude of warm professionalism appropriate for a therapeutic environment., • Many of our clients have adverse reactions to strong smells, unwanted touch, and changes to their schedule among other things. Having a therapeutic relationship includes showing up exactly on time, and respecting your client's boundaries and sensory differences., • Administering ABA Therapy;, • Communicating with caregivers regarding clinical progress and session activities, • Communicating with supervisor regarding skill acquisition, suggestions, barriers to treatment, scheduling, and other treatment relevant items, • Accurately recording data regarding skill acquisition and behavioral progression, • Completing skill acquisition procedures using Discrete Trail Teaching (DTT) as written, • Completing skill acquisition procedures using Naturalistic Environment Teaching (NET) as written, • Using function-based strategies to prevent, and respond to, your clients needs and struggles., • Responding to novel challenges using equal parts behavior-analytic techniques and personal compassion, • Writing comprehensive session notes following each session to be reviewed and sent to client insurance providers, • Direct Disability Support while your client is in session with you. This can include but not limited to: feeding, clothing, washing hands, and assistance in toilet training and diapering., • If interested, we have limited spots for RBTs to sign up for helping clients learn social skills by playing games like Minecraft, DnD, and more during our Saturday Social Skills classes., • Some candidates may qualify to work in our Thrive program- a licensed private school whose purpose is to provide a catered education experience for a limited number of Autistic students, helping them to acclimate to and navigate learning settings so as to attend any chosen school public or private in their future., • RBTs who excel may be eligible for joining our craft and materials team, our RBT trainers team, or be selected to begin internships with NBCG provider groups, or take on additional raises and responsibilities. Requirements: • Minimum of a high school diploma or GED, • Ability to pass a background check, • Experience working with children, individuals with disabilities, healthcare/mental health services, etc. strongly preferred., • Complete required training, pass the RBT competency assessment and obtain RBT certification within the designated timeframe with our support, • Full time requirement of 32+ hours per week, with a minimum hour requirement of 25 hours per week, • Availability of 3 afternoons a week (3:00pm to 7:00pm), • Must attend a once-a-month 2 hour Saturday training • no other required weekend shifts! • Reliable transportation: this position is center and home based, traveling to multiple locations may be required, • This is not a temporary position *At Neurobehavioral Center for Growth (NBCG), we believe that diversity improves our community and the quality of client care.
