Offered Benefits include: • Medical, Dental and Vision plans through CareFirst with PPO And HSA options available the first of the month after your hire date., • Rich leave benefits including PTO that is accrued starting on your first day of work, 8 company-recognized paid holidays plus a floating holiday, and 5 days of sick leave each calendar year., • Employee Assistance Program, Earned Wage Access, and Employee Assistance Fund., • Discounts on shopping and travel perks through WorkingAdvantage., • 401(k) retirement plan with employer match., • Paid training opportunities and Education Assistance Program., • Employee Referral Bonus Program What you do: • Conduct assessments and develop personalized treatment plans., • Implement evidence-based physical therapy techniques and modalities., • Monitor and adjust treatment plans as needed to achieve desired outcomes., • Evaluate progress and provide ongoing patient education., • Demonstrate empathy and understanding when working with patients., • Foster a positive and encouraging environment to motivate patients during their rehabilitation journey., • Administer treatment with therapeutic exercise, massage, mechanical devices, and therapeutic agents that use the properties of air, water, electricity, sound or light., • Make minor modifications to treatment plans within the predetermined plan of care, evaluations, and document treatment progress., • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records., • Adhere to all regulatory and compliance guidelines, • Oversight to the PTAs who in turn would be performing selected and delegated tasks., • Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care., • Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment, • Perform interpretation of referrals, physical therapy evaluation, re- evaluation, major modification of treatment plan, final discharge of the patient, or therapeutic techniques., • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in physical therapy., • Willingness to participate in professional development and training opportunities., • Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from a Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education – accredited physical therapist education program and pass a state licensure exam., • Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of orthopedic conditions and treatments. What physical demands should you be aware of? General Demands for the Physical Therapy position are listed under the 'medium duty’ category in the Dictionary of Occupational Titles as published by The U.S. Department of Labor. The physical demands incorporated at The Injury Care Center are not to exceed this level. All employees should seek assistance from another individual to prevent any lifting beyond 50 lb level. The Sit/Stand/Walk ratios tend to be equal at 33% of the day. This ratio remains within the control of the therapist depending on the task that needs to be accomplished.
