Job Description: This job code applies to the Athletic Trainer, in the community, youth or high school setting, with primary assignment to support the medical needs of the assigned partner; provide medical coverage, on field and in the training room for injured athletes during practices and events. Such duties may also extend to assist other local high schools, community sporting events, and regional sporting camps/activities. This position will have variable working hours, unpredictability of schedules, adjusting to match the needs of the partner and late nights. The Athletic Trainer works primarily afternoons and evenings with some weekends during the school year, and maintains a variable schedule during the summer based on program needs.
