The Private Events Manager is responsible for leading and growing BoujieMana's private events and signature experiences program. This role serves as the primary owner of private dining, celebrations, corporate events, community activations, and other special experiences, with responsibility for event sales, client relationships, revenue growth, operational oversight, and overall program performance. The Private Events Manager partners with restaurant leadership, culinary teams, service teams, marketing, and external partners to ensure events align with BoujieMana's brand standards while driving guest satisfaction, profitability, and business growth. What You’ll Do: Business Development & Revenue Growth • Develop and execute strategies to increase private events revenue, bookings, repeat business, and market visibility., • Build and maintain relationships with corporate clients, community partners, event planners, and referral sources., • Lead event sales efforts, negotiate event packages and pricing within established guidelines, and identify new business opportunities., • Analyze event performance and recommend improvements to increase revenue and profitability. Event Program Leadership • Own the planning and execution of private events from intake, guest communications, team and set-up coordination, etc. to ensure exceptional guest experiences and operational excellence., • Establish event standards, processes, and best practices that support consistency and efficiency., • Serve as the primary decision-maker for event-related escalations, guest accommodations, and operational challenges., • Ensure event offerings align with business objectives, brand standards, and guest expectations. Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration • Provide direction, coaching, and support to team members involved in event planning and execution., • Partner with restaurant, culinary, and service leadership to align staffing, operations, and resources., • Collaborate with marketing to support promotions, partnerships, community engagement, and signature event initiatives., • Support the development and execution of new event concepts and guest experiences. Financial & Administrative Oversight • Monitor event revenue, expenses, contracts, deposits, and overall program performance., • Prepare reports, forecasts, and recommendations for leadership regarding event strategy and business opportunities., • Ensure compliance with company policies, operational procedures, and applicable regulations. What You Bring: • 3+ years of hospitality, catering, restaurant events, sales, or event management experience., • Demonstrated success in event sales, client relationship management, business development, or hospitality leadership., • Strong business acumen, communication skills, and organizational abilities., • Ability to exercise sound judgment, manage competing priorities, and make independent decisions in a fast-paced environment., • Experience with event management software, reservation systems, POS platforms, and reporting tools preferred., • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and event-based schedules as needed.
