Job Description The Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) provides one-to-one behavioral management interventions to the child or adolescent with a serious emotional disturbance, in the assigned home, school or community setting, in support of the family or other responsible adults, in order to prevent more restrictive services or out-of-home placement. Job Description PHILADELPHIA ANTI-DRUG/ANTI-VIOLENCE NETWORK (paan) POSITION: Human Services Coordinator JOB DESCRIPTION POSITION SUMMARY The Anti-Violence programs at PAAN represent a continuum of care that includes mentoring, advocacy, mediation, job readiness programming, job training, employment assistance, parenting and facilitating enrolment in treatment. We currently operate two primary programs: The Community Crisis Intervention Program (CCIP) emphasizes intervening on behalf of the community and has no age parameters. This concept is based on the work of PAAN's predecessor, the Philadelphia’s Crisis Intervention Network. This nationally recognized agency, founded in the mid-1970s by James Mills and Bennie Swans, effectively addressed gang violence, drug abuse and drug trafficking and was credited with dramatically decreasing gang-related deaths in Philadelphia for over a decade. CCIP aims to replicate Crisis Intervention Network's approach to combat today's community violence. CCIP combats violence by intervening where the violence is most prevalent. We use credible messengers who are products of Philadelphia's most violent neighborhoods as outreach workers to foster meaningful relationships with would be perpetrators as well as law abiding residents. CCIP works to provide those involved in criminal activities with positive alternatives. The Human Services Department (HSD) is headed by a director and includes 3 Case Managers, 2 Human Services Coordinators and a Career/Employment Specialist. This department addresses the special needs of CCIP referrals. The staff work to develop and facilitate the effective/consistent utilization of resources while supplementing the support provided by our CCIP Advocates. This Human Services Coordinator (HSC) will assist in identifying the presence of physical or mental health impairments, substance abuse issues, homelessness, educational, family and other social history patterns that impact the individual’s behavior and development. The HSC will be responsible for developing a network of partners along with a social service resource manual which the agency can utilize to best service communities. HSC will have established office hours to meet with individuals on an as needed basis. This position will act as a resource to The Community Crisis Intervention Program (CCIP). Job Description The IT PPM Manager is responsible for managing the planning, prioritization, and execution of IT projects within the OIT Operations umbrella, including assessing impacts of external project pressures to project capability. They will manage productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders (typically within the City and associated agencies) and assist OIT in fostering strong and collaborative partnerships between OIT Operations, as well as with other units within OIT and various outside business partners. In this role, they will manage a small team of IT project management professionals and will work closely and collaboratively with OIT Operations leadership to set priorities and strategic directions, communicate with stakeholders, and set divisional goals for supporting our Citywide partners. They are expected to work with the OIT Operations departmental leaders to assist in promoting a collaborative, human-centered, innovative, accountable, transparent, and inclusive culture within their area. Essential Functions Management • Works to develop employees under their supervision., • Assigns projects and priorities; addresses blockers., • Manages roadmaps for the operations project portfolio related to departmental priorities in collaboration with PMs, leadership, and operations staff, and constituent stakeholders. Coordinates the development and implementation of major project timelines where appropriate., • Follows effective relationship and project management processes, including appropriate metrics and tools to report on the effectiveness of those relationships, projects, and project portfolio., • Conducts regular reviews, priority-setting, and planning sessions with departmental partners. Serves as an advocate for those priorities/plans., • Analyzes performance of activities within their area and documents resolutions, identifies and remediates problem areas, and devises and delivers solutions to enhance quality of area’s services., • Monitors request handling and escalation policies and procedures; manages the processing of incoming requests to ensure courteous, timely, and effective response., • Tracks and analyzes status and trends and generates reports for internal and external audiences., • Keeps their supervisor informed of current and potential issues, activities, operational outages, and any other risks that might jeopardize project success or impact IT service delivery., • Ensures excellent project documentation., • Serves as Operations’ primary representative on cross-PMO planning, processes, and Gates.
