Position Overview: The Marketing Manager will be responsible for planning, developing, and executing marketing initiatives that support both Talley Management Group’s corporate brand and the strategic marketing needs of our association clients. This role requires a creative and strategic thinker who can manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and deliver results-driven marketing campaigns. The Marketing Manager will work cross-functionally with internal teams, client teams, and external vendors to develop high-quality marketing content and communications. Key Responsibilities: Marketing Strategy & Operations • Support the strategy development and execution of marketing programs for Talley’s client portfolio., • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to produce marketing materials (brochures, newsletters, web content, etc.) aligned with client branding., • Develop marketing content for Talley client partners (including but not limited to social media, email, video, website, white papers, blogs, event marketing campaigns, etc.), • Track, analyze, and report on marketing campaign effectiveness, adjusting strategies as needed for optimal performance., • Maintain and grow social media presence for Talley’s client partners (LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.)., • Develop and implement email marketing campaigns for Talley’s client partners, • Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to ensure website content is current, accurate, and engaging., • Coordinate and support the execution of business development campaigns and initiatives., • Provide logistical support for business development meetings, events, and conferences, including scheduling, travel arrangements, and materials preparation., • Act as the liaison between the marketing and development teams and other departments to ensure alignment and efficient execution of client strategies., • Lead and mentor junior marketing and development staff, fostering a collaborative, creative, and performance-oriented culture., • Present marketing and development updates to association boards, executive leadership, and other key stakeholders as needed. Qualifications: Education Requirements: • Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing, fundraising, or business development, ideally within an association management or nonprofit environment., • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and various AMC project management tools, • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously., • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills., • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with ability to convey information in writing and verbally., • High ethical standards and integrity., • Self-starter who is driven and has the ability to work independently., • Exhibit a high level of attention to detail in order to produce accurate results., • Strong leadership and team management abilities., • Increased brand visibility for both TMG and client organizations (e.g., growth in website traffic, social media reach)., • Improved audience engagement across marketing channels (e.g., higher open rates, click-through rates, event participation)., • On-time delivery of marketing campaigns, materials, and communications., • Positive feedback from internal teams, clients, and stakeholders on marketing initiatives., • Effective project management with marketing projects staying within budget and meeting established timelines., • This is a remote position., • Percentage of travel (inclusive of Talley and client related obligations) – up to 10%, • This role primarily involves desk-based work using a computer and standard office equipment. Employees must be able to sit or stand (based on preference) for extended periods, type and use a mouse, view a computer screen, and participate in virtual meetings. Occasionally, light lifting of items like laptops or small office supplies (up to 15 pounds) may be required. Employees are expected to maintain a comfortable home office setup and adhere to safety guidelines for physical needs, ensuring an efficient and productive work experience., • If travel is required, additional physical requirements include navigating airports, public transportation, and meeting locations, lifting luggage or equipment (up to 50 pounds), sitting or standing for extended periods, and adapting to various environments such as conference centers or client sites., • If an accommodation is required, individuals are expected to contact Human Resources to ensure Talley can provide the necessary support and ensure a safe, comfortable work experience.
