We are looking for a Preschool Teacher for our School, First Friends Child Development Center. This is a full-time teaching position under the Flemington-Raritan School District Preschool Expansion Program. The starting salary is Step 1 on the FRSD school's salary guide. Candidates must have a P-3 certification. Qualifications • Appropriately Certified Teachers” shall hold a bachelor's degree and, at a minimum, a Certificate of Eligibility or Certificate of Eligibility with Advanced Standing for Preschool through Grade Three certification or other equivalent preschool certification, as outlined in N.J.A.C. 6A:9B et seq., • Create engaging activities to promote the social, emotional, and cognitive development of preschool-aged children, • Implement age-appropriate lesson plans, • Manage classroom behavior and create a positive learning atmosphere, • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure the well-being of all students, • Monitor and assess student progress to provide individualized support when needed, • Plans and paces lessons that reflect a learning environment aligned with ECERS-3 guidelines and the Preschool Teaching and Learning Standards;, • Salary for a ten-month work year subject to negotiations between the FREA and the Board of Education.
