Job Description BASIC FUNCTIONS The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for providing in-depth financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting to support strategic decision-making. This role partners with business leaders to deliver actionable insights, develop financial models, and monitor performance against budgets and forecasts. The analyst ensures accuracy in financial reporting, identifies trends and risks, and contributes to initiatives that drive profitability and operational efficiency. Builds and maintains financial models to assist the Director, Finance with monthly, quarterly and annual financial statement packages to Executive Leadership Team. This individual has the responsibility and authority to carry out all assigned tasks. SPECIFIC DUTIES • Partners with Director of Finance and Director of Credit and Collections to project A/R and Cash Forecasting on a monthly basis., • Assists in developing and implementing strategic cash forecasting and cash management plan for the company; manages the cash flow and prepare cash flow reports in accordance with policy., • Supports monthly and quarterly reviews and analyses of current processes using operational metrics and reports., • Produces monthly Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss Statement, Cash Flow, Working Capital, Variance Analysis and accounting metrics in accordance with company’s operational requirements., • Produces and monitors EBITDA results including trailing 12 months, • Develops operational models and gather business intelligence to identify optimal states and areas of strength, weakness, threat and opportunity., • Integrates analytics and process performance by coordinating and leading cross departmental operational improvement and cost saving initiatives., • Consolidates and analyzes financial data (budgets, income statement forecasts etc.) taking into account company’s goals and financial standing., • Reviews and analyzes monthly, quarter-to-date, and year-to-date actual variances vs. budget and prior forecast., • Develops and maintains complex financial models related to the companywide budget and forecast process in the areas of sales, churn, operating expenses, operations, corporate expenses, and capital expenditures., • Tracks and analyzes key cost drivers including direct costs (COGS, Labor, and Logistics) as well as overhead type expenses (Salaries, Headcount, Rent, Insurance, Legal, Consulting, etc.), • Actively engages and works closely with colleagues to understand how CTG operates and where improvements can be made to support the company's business model., • Maintains spreadsheet accounting for all Ship in Place orders, • Conducts insightful, ad hoc analyses to investigate ongoing or one-time operational issues., • Acts as backup for extending credit to customers and cash collections, in the event the Director of Credit and Collections is unavailable or out of the office., • Acts as backup for accounts payable in the event that assistance is needed., • Ensures compliance with company code of conduct and all applicable laws, regulations, rules and policies. STANDARD REQUIREMENTS Comply with all requirements of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), International Standard ISO9001 and ISO27001, NIST 800-171, CMMC – Cyber Security and Informational Data Security Requirements. Aerospace Management System Standards AS9100, AS9120, IDEA-QMS-9090, ASA-100 and supporting construct standards AS6081, IDEA-STD-1010, AC7402-CAAP, CCAP-101, FAA AC00-56, ANSI/ESD S20.20. All employees shall commit and comply with the requirements of AS5553 for Counterfeit Electrical, Electronic and Electromechanical (EEE) Parts – Avoidance, Detection, Mitigation and Disposition practices. METRICS AND MEASURABLES (pending) EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE / COMPETENCY • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field., • Professional certifications such as CPA, CFA, or CMA are a plus., • 5+ years’ experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting., • Experience in corporate finance, FP&A, or similar roles., • Expertise in building and maintaining detailed financial models., • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Word., • Proficient verbal and written communication skills., • Strong problem-solving skills, documentation skills, research and resolution skills, data analysis and multi-tasking skills.
