Job Description Versant Media is seeking a seasoned Sports Project Planning Manager to lead and coordinate high-impact production facility design and construction initiatives. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with strong project management skills, production experience and a passion for operational excellence in creative and technical environments. Key Responsibilities: Project Management & Execution • Oversee end-to-end planning and execution of production facility design and construction, • Oversee and coordinate sports workflow and innovation projects., • Maintain and optimize real-time project management software to ensure visibility, accountability, and timely delivery., • Serve as the central point of contact for internal teams, external vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders., • Facilitate regular status updates, ensuring alignment on timelines, responsibilities, and expectations., • Collaborate with Finance to initiate and manage purchase orders, track budgets, and ensure timely vendor payments., • Apply knowledge of studio and field production environments to anticipate needs and streamline workflows., • Ensure all projects adhere to production standards, timelines, and compliance requirements.Qualifications, • 5+ years experience in project leadership, with a strong understanding of studio and production facilities and field operations., • Proven track record in managing complex creative projects from concept to completion., • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Airtable, Monday.com, Smartsheet, or similar)., • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills., • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and deadline-driven environment., • Familiarity with emerging production technologies., • Experience in broadcast facility design and construction., • Familiarity with remote production and events.
