Job Description Summary: The Performance & Reliability Technician plays a critical role in supporting HULK’s shop operations by leading refurbishment, assembly, and failure analysis (DIFA) of downhole sand control and artificial lift tools. This position supports production goals, mentors junior technicians, maintains inventory accuracy, and helps ensure all shop processes are completed safely and efficiently in accordance with company standards. RESPONSIBILITIES • Perform and lead downhole tool DIFA and refurbishment processes while meeting production goals and quality standards., • Support the development and improvement of refurbishment procedures, tooling, and documentation in partnership with operations and engineering teams., • Train, mentor, and support Shop Technicians on assembly, refurbishment, safety practices, and company procedures., • Assist with daily shop operations, including staging, tagging, storing, and organizing equipment and inventory., • Coordinate inbound and outbound product shipments, including working with delivery vendors and updating company systems., • Receive, inspect, label, and store returned customer and company-owned inventory., • Support inventory cycle counts and ensure accurate documentation and tracking., • Assist with product deliveries to customer locations when needed., • Safely operate forklifts and lifting equipment to move tools, materials, and equipment., • Maintain clean and organized work areas and follow all housekeeping and safety requirements., • Ensure compliance with company safety policies, procedures, and training requirements., • High School Diploma or GED required., • Minimum of 4 years of experience in artificial lift, downhole tool assembly, refurbishment, manufacturing, or related oilfield service work., • Experience performing DIFA or mechanical troubleshooting preferred., • Demonstrated ability to train and mentor technicians., • Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills., • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing priorities., • Strong communication and teamwork skills., • Valid Class C Driver’s License with acceptable driving record., • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening., • Ability to work overtime, weekends, or holidays based on business needs., • Ability to safely lift, move, and handle shop materials and equipment. Physical Requirements/Work Environment • Ability to stand for extended periods of time., • Must be able to safely lift and move up to 50 pounds., • Able to bend, reach, kneel, twist, and grip items safely during work activities., • Manual dexterity and coordination to operate hand and mechanical tools effectively., • Able to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities., • Capable of responding quickly to visual and verbal instructions.
