Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and reliable Roustabout Pusher to lead a team of roustabouts in supporting oilfield operations. As a Roustabout Pusher, you will oversee daily activities, ensure tasks are completed safely and efficiently, and perform hands-on labor as needed. This supervisory role focuses on pipeline and facility maintenance, equipment installation, tank and vessel cleaning, and general site upkeep in challenging outdoor environments. The position requires strong leadership skills, technical knowledge, and a commitment to safety standards. Key Responsibilities • Supervise and direct a crew of 2-4 roustabouts, assigning tasks, providing training, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols and company policies., • Coordinate and oversee pipeline and facility construction, including trench digging, pipe laying, fitting, and basic welding under supervision., • Lead tank and vessel cleaning operations, ensuring proper removal of residues, inspections for damage, and adherence to environmental regulations., • Perform and guide maintenance on oilfield equipment, such as repairs, painting, greasing, and replacing components like filters, meters, and pipes., • Manage loading and unloading of materials, tools, and supplies, optimizing workflow for efficiency., • Conduct site inspections to identify hazards, maintain well sites, tank batteries, and production equipment, and report issues to higher management., • Repair or replace damaged infrastructure, including fences, containment systems, and mechanical parts using hand and power tools., • Assist in environmental cleanup, waste disposal, and spill response in line with regulatory requirements., • Participate in safety meetings, enforce the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and promote a culture of safety among the team., • Collaborate with other oilfield personnel, such as operators and engineers, to support drilling and production activities., • Handle administrative tasks, including tracking crew hours, inventory management, and basic reporting. Qualifications and Requirements • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in oilfield operations or related field preferred., • At least 2-3 years of experience as a roustabout or in similar oilfield roles, with demonstrated leadership abilities., • Strong knowledge of oilfield equipment, tools, and safety procedures; experience with pipeline construction and tank cleaning is essential., • Physical stamina to perform demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing, and working in extreme weather., • Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a small team effectively., • Valid driver's license and clean driving record; CDL preferred for operating vehicles., • OSHA or equivalent safety certification required; first aid/CPR training is a plus., • Willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, overtime, and on-call duties., • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test, physical exam, and background check. Working Conditions • Primarily field-based role involving outdoor work in harsh weather conditions, such as heat, cold, rain, and wind., • Exposure to noise, dust, chemicals, heavy machinery, and potential hazards; strict adherence to safety measures is required., • Travel to remote oilfield locations may be necessary, with possible extended stays away from home. Compensation and Benefits • Competitive hourly wage starting at $25$30, based on experience and qualifications.
