Job Description Case Manager, Connections Community Counseling (CCC) Program Position Summary Lifeline Services is hiring a Bilingual Case Manager to support our growing team. You will be responsible for helping homeless and runaway youth and their family access community resources to support their mental health treatment. This includes working with youth and families to understand their needs, educating about available services and supports, and providing assistance connecting to those supports. The Case Manager meets our youth where they are, in homes or shelters, or at other community locations, in addition to the clinic or Zoom. This is a direct service role that will help our team support vulnerable youth in reaching their goals! We're looking for a candidate who has case management experience, and is able to connect with vulnerable youth, especially teenagers and young adults. This role requires flexibility and teamwork, as the Case Manager works closely with the Therapist, youth and family as part of the treatment team. They research, write and report on all grants awarded to HGH. This position also provides high level support to the Finance department, assisting with complex financial billing and reporting for various federal, State and local government agencies. Job Description POSITION SUMMARY The Senior Accountant will support the mission, vision, and values of the Logan Heights Community Development Corporation (Logan Heights CDC) and LHCDC Holdings LLC whose mission is to strengthen residents and businesses in Greater Logan Heights neighborhoods through community empowerment, education, economic growth, and housing development. As a member of the Accounting team, the Senior Accountant will plan, organize, control, and direct the financial areas of accounts payable, accounts receivable, benefits, cash management, financial reporting, and payroll. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Senior Accountant will be responsible for the management of all finance, accounting, and reporting activities. The Senior Accountant administratively supports the accounting operations and interfaces with donors, vendors, and other organizational staff members. The position requires an in-depth knowledge and understanding of generally accepted accounting principles and administrative practices as well as demonstrated knowledge of the New Markets Tax Credit (NMTC) program, including experience with compliance reporting, allocation tracking, and financial statement preparation for Community Development Entities (CDEs) and Qualified Active Low-Income Community Businesses (QALICBs). Audit Coordination (15%) • Facilitate annual audit conducted by an independent CPA firm and maintain relationship with accounting firm;, • Coordinate audit activity;, • Respond to requests from auditors' representatives, grantor organizations, and governmental organizations, including official financial reports and claims;, • Collaborate with and provide supporting documentation to the external auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance; and, • Perform related duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS Incumbents must demonstrate the ability to follow policies and procedures as established in the Organization's Employee Handbook. In addition, the education, experience, and other skills listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required. EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATIONS • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business-related field, preferred; and, • Five (5) to ten (10) years of experience in the accounting or finance field, preferred; and, • Financial and operations management experience with a not-for-profit organization, preferred. EQUIPMENT AND APPLICATIONS • Experience with NetSuite accounting software, preferred;, • Expertise in MS Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and SharePoint; and, • Working knowledge of all standard office equipment.
