Job DescriptionThe Senior Director of Marketing and Annual Giving provides leadership for Every Home’s marketing strategy and annual giving growth engine. This role leads a multi-disciplinary team (Design, Publications/Writer, Social, Paid Media) to drive acquisition, engagement, and donor outcomes through integrated campaigns, brand stewardship, and data-informed planning. The role establishes email strategy and execution, provides strategic oversight for the website and digital experience in partnership with the Software team, and collaborates with IT/BI to strengthen CRM segmentation, classification, and performance reporting. Our Senior Director of Marketing and Annual Giving is responsible for improving donor growth and retention, increasing funnel conversion, have proven stronger audience engagement, and can provide clear ROI across all channels. RESPONSIBILITIES • Maintains a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Is a consistent witness for Jesus Christ, maintains a courteous, Christ-like attitude in dealing with people within and outside of Every Home for Christ., • Adheres to the Biblical standards of moral conduct, Every Home for Christ Christian Community Conduct, Every Home for Christ vision statement, Every Home for Christ statement of faith, Every Home for Christ’s Employee standards and policies, Every Home for Christ’s Covenant of Harmony, and Enduring Foundations and continuously upholds the ministry in prayer., • Participates in our Christ-centered community through working in the HQ office and actively demonstrate Every Home cultural values., • Partner with Chief Technology & Innovation Officer (CTIO) on annual strategic planning and represent Marketing and Annual Giving in organizational decision-making processes, including segmentation and classification strategy., • Lead, develop, and mentor the Marketing team (Graphic Designer, Writer/Publications Coordinator, Social Media Coordinator, Marketing/Ad Buying Specialist), creating a growth-oriented environment with clear roles, priorities, standards, and accountability., • Develop and manage the comprehensive engagement funnel strategy, ensuring a seamless constituent journey from awareness to engagement, giving, and retention across all organizational priorities., • Oversee all advertising initiatives and multi-channel campaign execution (social media, web, email, print), delegating tactical implementation while maintaining strategic oversight and ROI focus., • Responsible for direction and approval of direct messaging strategies and creative campaigns in collaboration with internal teams, ensuring brand consistency under the authority of the Office of the President., • Own and manage email strategy and execution, including list health, segmentation, automation, deliverability, and reporting; partner with IT/BI/Software teams to develop performance dashboards tracking engagement, conversion, and ROI metrics., • Provide strategic oversight of the website and digital experience (content structure, conversion pathways, landing pages) while partnering with the Software team for design and executed changes., • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration as the primary marketing liaison with Advancement, Prayer Team, U.S. Ministry, Media, IT, and Software teams, aligning annual giving campaigns, calendar priorities, and channel execution., • Develop and manage the marketing budget and annual giving marketing spend, ensuring effective resource allocation and achievement of financial targets., • Represent Every Home at industry conferences and professional networks, bringing innovative nonprofit marketing and annual giving strategies back to the organization., • Has an active and personal relationship with Jesus Christ, • Active attendance/participation at local church, • Education: minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, International Business or related field; preferred Master's degree in Marketing or similar, • Experience: 10+ years of experience in nonprofit/mission driven Marketing and successful annual giving AND 5 years of successful formal team leadership, • Strong belief in the mission and strategy of Every Home for Christ with passion for evangelism, discipleship, and prayer., • Proven strategic thinking abilities with demonstrated success developing and executing multi-year integrated marketing (and annual giving-aligned) plans for mission-driven organizations., • Exemplary servant leadership style with proven ability to build, mentor, and retain high-performing teams; as well as engage in positive cross-department collaboration., • Demonstrates humility and grace when leading and interacting with others of all levels of the organization, • High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and integrity in handling sensitive organizational and constituent information., • Possess a high level of professionalism and respect for international people and cultures, • Advanced experience in data analysis, forecasting, and using analytics to optimize marketing performance and inform strategic decisions., • Expertise in email/marketing automation platforms (Mailchimp) including segmentation, list health, deliverability, and reporting; able to partner effectively with Advancement/IT on donor CRM workflows (Blackbaud Raiser's Edge) and data hygiene., • Demonstrated success in both traditional media buying (radio, video, print) and digital advertising (paid search, display ads, social media, PPC) with proven ROI results., • Working knowledge of digital marketing best practices including website conversion optimization, UX fundamentals, SEO principles, and emerging marketing technologies; able to direct web priorities in partnership with Software., • Exceptional communication skills with ability to present to executive leadership, collaborate across departments, and foster organizational inclusion., • Strong project management capabilities with proven ability to balance strategic priorities and manage multiple concurrent initiatives while meeting tight deadlines;
