They have given us their info so you will call and educate them on the benefits of owning solar instead of renting their energy from the utility company at a continually escalating rate. Make friends: We only hire likable people because it is critical in getting people to go solar. If they like you, they pay attention. If they pay attention, they absorb the education. If they are educated, they will go solar because it’s a no-brainer. Use Technology: Because we are working virtually, you must be able to learn how to share your screen and walk through a solar education presentation. You will also be using a CRM to input information and keep organized. Educate Customers: Owning solar is a no-brainer but our customers won’t realize that until you educate them. We give you the training and tools to educate them; you just need to bring the personality. Becoming a Subject Matter Expert: You may not know anything about solar yet and that’s ok, but you’ll need to master the topic so you can understand and meet your customer’s needs. Complete the Paperwork: To get paid, you have to correctly complete all the documents. You must walk the customer through completing their lending documents and the contract then submit them correctly.
