This role will function as the U.S.-based extension of the IT Department, working under the direction of the IT Manager located in Argentina. The primary responsibility is hands-on technical support. This individual will serve as the on-the-ground resource for hardware setup, asset management, and Tier 1 support tickets across U.S. personnel. When IT workload permits, the role will also provide general office administrative support for the Denver location.     ABOUT THE CAMPAIGN A progressive Democratic challenger to a 30-year incumbent in Colorado’s 1st Congressional District is seeking a Field Director. We are in need of an experienced Field Director to lead our organizing and voter contact operations, building the infrastructure necessary to win this competitive primary. POSITION OVERVIEW The Field Director will be responsible for helping to develop and execute the campaign's comprehensive field plan, building a robust volunteer operation, successfully managing the entire caucus and ballot qualification process, and managing all aspects of voter contact and turnout. This role requires someone who can build something from the ground up, work independently, and thrive in the fast-paced, high-stakes environment of a competitive primary challenge. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Strategic Planning & Execution • Develop and implement a comprehensive field plan aligned with the campaign's path to victory, • Set and track weekly and monthly voter contact goals across all programs, • Ability to pull target universes from the VAN, cut turf, and optimize resource deployment, • Coordinate field strategy with digital, communications, and fundraising teams Organizing & Team Management • Recruit, train, and manage field organizers and interns, • Build and maintain a strong volunteer base across the district, implementing volunteer recruitment, retention, and recognition programs, • Organize and oversee ballot qualification, canvassing, phone banking, and voter registration efforts Voter Contact Operations • Oversee all direct voter contact programs, • Manage turf-cutting and packet preparation for canvass operations, • Ensure accurate and timely data entry into the VAN, • Develop scripts and training materials for volunteers Coalition Building & Community Engagement • Build relationships with local Democratic clubs, unions, and community organizations, • Organize endorsement meetings and coalition events, • Coordinate surrogate and endorser deployment for voter contact, • Plan and execute visibility events, town halls, and community canvasses GOTV Planning • Develop and execute a comprehensive Get Out The Vote program for primary election day, • Recruit and train poll monitors and election day volunteers, • Coordinate early vote and vote-by-mail programs where applicable, • Manage election day operations including staging locations and volunteer deployment QUALIFICATIONS • At least 2-3 cycles of campaign field experience, with at least one cycle in a management role, • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding voter contact goals, • Demonstrable proficiency with the VAN, • Experience recruiting, training, and managing volunteers and staff, • Strong understanding of campaign data, targeting, and metrics, • Ability to work non-traditional hours for an insurgency campaign, • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation, • Experience with Colorado primaries or competitive Democratic campaigns preferred COMPETENCIES Organizational Leadership: Ability to build and manage teams, delegate effectively, and create systems that scale. Must be comfortable managing up and down simultaneously. Data-Driven Decision Making: Comfortable with numbers, metrics, and using data to inform strategy. Can translate raw data into actionable insights and adjust tactics accordingly. Political Acumen: Understanding of local political landscape, coalition dynamics, and what motivates different voter groups. Resilience & Adaptability: Ability to handle setbacks, adapt to changing circumstances, and maintain composure under pressure. Communication Skills: Clear, direct communicator who can motivate volunteers, brief senior staff, and represent the campaign professionally in coalition settings. Scrappiness & Resourcefulness: Ability to do more with less, find creative solutions to resource constraints, and build infrastructure from scratch.
