Job DescriptionJob Title: Aircraft Structural AssemblerJob Description We are seeking a dedicated Aircraft Structural Assembler to join our production team. The role involves assembling structural sections of aircraft using parts, subassemblies, and components, and installing functional units, parts, or equipment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in using hand tools and power tools in accordance with blueprints and specifications. Responsibilities • Assemble structural sections of aircraft using fabricated parts, subassemblies, and components with hand tools and power tools according to blueprints and specifications., • Drill holes into structures and subassemblies and attach brackets, hinges, or clips., • Cut, trim, and file parts to ensure proper fit., • Locate and identify reference points and holes for installation using jigs, templates, and measuring instruments., • Ensure parts are aligned to acceptable tolerances., • Inspect and test installed units, parts, and equipment for fit, form, and function using appropriate measuring instruments and test equipment., • Operate machines such as arbor presses or riveting machines for force fitting or fastening operations., • Provide guidance to bench assemblers as needed., • Assist other production areas when required., • Maintain a clean work area, tools, and equipment., • Perform other duties as assigned.Essential Skills, • High school diploma or GED., • Ability to read blueprints., • Minimum 1 year of previous related experience., • Proficiency in basic math including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in all units of measure., • Effective verbal communication skills., • Ability to safely use gauges, calipers, and other tools and equipment., • Ability to identify materials and supplies according to specifications., • Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and accuracy., • Dependability and ability to follow instructions., • Ability to take initiative and perform work independently.Additional Skills & Qualifications, • Structures, Aviation, Assembly, Rivets, Hiloks, Sealing., • 2+ years of recent aviation assembly experience.
