Essential Functions: • Perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry and appliance maintenance, • Ensure that the final work product meets quality standards, • Examine and diagnose RV problems, • Discuss repairs with shop foreman or RV service advisor, • Communicate additional service requests to RV service advisor, • Plan work procedures in cooperation with shop foreman, • Provide labor time estimates to RV service advisor, • Monitor repair time and update RV service advisor regularly, • Maintain strict adherence to dealership policies on RV care and operation, • Complete story and/or documentation for client repairs, • Attend company trainings as required, • Keep current with factory technical bulletins, • Communicate with all departments when more information needed or when problems arise, • Understand and follow federal, state and local regulations (such as disposal of hazardous waste) Requirements: Education, Experience and Work Requirements: • High School Diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience, • RVIA certification preferred but not required, • State Inspection License is preferred but not required, • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: • Ability to diagnose and fix electrical, heating, plumbing, and hydraulic systems, • Construction skills to repair water damaged units, • Must have own tools appropriate to skill level, • Must have a valid Driver’s License with clean, insurable, driving record, • Certification in trade fields such as HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, are a plus!, • Experience preferred in one of the following categories:, • Boat: Exteriors, • Boat: Interiors, • Carpentry, • Cars, • Electrical Systems, • Fiberglass, • High and Low Voltage Systems, • HVAC, • Hydraulics, • Plumbing, • Propane Systems, • RVs, • Welding
