Job Description Executive Housekeeper / Home Environment Lead Brooklyn Townhome & Montauk Beach Residence We are seeking a highly experienced, hands-on Executive Housekeeper / Home Environment Lead to take full responsibility for the daily cleanliness, organization, and functioning of our private residences in Brooklyn and Montauk. This is a senior, detail-driven role for a candidate who takes pride in personally maintaining an exceptional home environment. The Executive Housekeeper will be directly responsible for cleaning and day-to-day household care. The ideal individual is hands-on, proactive, discreet, systems-oriented, and takes genuine pride in creating calm, beautiful, and impeccably run home environments. The family has a medium sized puppy. Candidate must be comfortable around animals and young children. Core Responsibilities Executive Housekeeping (Hands-On) • Perform all daily and deep cleaning across both residences to a very high standard, • Maintain homes in a consistently organized, calm, and guest-ready state, • Develop and follow structured cleaning routines and checklists, • Manage seasonal transitions (closets, linens, outdoor furniture, beach gear) Laundry & Wardrobe Care • Full responsibility for household laundry, fine garments, delicates, and linens, • Proper washing, steaming, folding, storage, and seasonal rotation, • Coordinate specialty cleaning when needed Cooking & Kitchen Support • Prepare simple, healthy family meals using provided recipes, • Weekly healthy menu planning in coordination with principle, • Comfortable cooking for adults and children, • Setting and serving family meals, • Maintain kitchen cleanliness, food organization, and basic grocery restocking Home Operations • Monitor household supplies and proactively reorder as needed, • Identify maintenance issues and communicate them to Chief of Staff, • Coordinate with external vendors when services are scheduled, • Oversee seasonal transitions (closet changes, beach/home rotations, linens, outdoor furniture, etc.), • Work seamlessly around a busy family with children, • Maintain discretion, flexibility, and emotional intelligence in a dynamic household, • Support special projects, events, or hosting as needed Montauk Support • Drive locally in Montauk for errands, groceries, and household needs, • Support increased activity during summer months and family stays Qualifications • 5+ years experience as a senior housekeeper or executive housekeeper in a private home, • Strong preference for candidates accustomed to working independently, • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, • Physically capable of hands-on housekeeping responsibilities, • Confident home cook who follows recipes well, • Valid driver’s license and comfort driving in Montauk, • Discreet, reliable, and emotionally intelligent, • Able to work smoothly around a busy family with children, • Calm, proactive, and service-oriented mindset, • Trustworthy, discreet, and professional at all times Schedule & Logistics • Full-time position, • Primary residence in Brooklyn with regular time in Montauk (seasonal increase in summer), • Schedule will vary based on family needs and travel, with advance planning whenever possible Compensation • Competitive salary, commensurate with experience, • Paid time off and holidays, • Long-term role with a respectful, appreciative family
