JOB SUMMARY The Packaging Mechanic is a key member of the packaging team, and is responsible for repairs, maintenance of equipment in the Packaging Department, and ensuring that all department equipment functions properly to meet production requirements.This position may have some Supervisor responsibilities such as vendor management, timecard approvals, training, and supporting the development of team members.The Mechanic also maintains equipment to meet SOP and cGMP specifications, troubleshoots, and diagnoses equipment failure able to source problems and repair equipment. This Mechanic should be proficient in dismantling and reassembling equipment and using appropriate tools to perform repairs. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Works in a team environment with management to ensure departmental goals are prioritized and met., • Gives direction and support to the other mechanics when needed., • Ensures that machines are properly maintained and PM’s are performed and documented monthly., • Serves as primary troubleshooter for all equipment in the department. Contacts equipment vendors when mechanical problems arise., • Performs required analysis of all electrical, electronic and mechanical components in the event of equipment failure., • Establish and perform preventive maintenance on all equipment to ensure proper operation and minimal downtime., • Performs set-ups and changeovers of all machines in accordance with schedule demands., • Advises packaging management of equipment performance, problems and status., • Participates in the installation and debugging of new or modified equipment., • Follows department SOP’s, cGMP and safety practices., • Maintains proper documentation in accordance with SOP’s., • Must perform and successfully complete all trainings in Master Control., • High School Diploma, Technical School Certificate plus 5+ years' experience as a GMP Packaging Mechanic. Job DescriptionJob Summary/Company: Our client creates trust in the digital age with integrated security technologies in three business areas: Digital Security, Financial Platforms and Currency Technology. A Field Engineer will use his/her technical expertise and individual judgment to provide customer-site servicing, installation and repair of complex electromechanical equipment and will maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through the use of data-driven tools, proactive attention to customer requirements and positive customer interactions. This position provides support to customers on operational or maintenance aspects of equipment, receives escalated customer concerns on technical and service related problems, diagnoses mechanical, hardware, software, and systems failures using established procedures, determines the most effective repair/resolution to minimize customer downtime, and prepares reports for analysis of product failure trends and serviceability issues. Responsibilities: • Applies company policies and procedures to complete routine tasks., • Responds to service calls promptly, performs maintenance of equipment systems at customer sites and assists operators with operational problems that occur., • Represent our client in a highly professional manner., • Performs all administrative duties including record keeping, reporting, and inventory management in an accurate and timely manner., • Hands on experience with electro-mechanical equipment a plus., • Capabilities should include electro-mechanical troubleshooting ability, understanding of electronic principles, and a working knowledge of computer systems, PC’s and Networking., • Hands on experience with solenoids, belts, rollers, bearings, pneumatics, and guides a plus.
