This role is ideal for an accounting professional with a strong foundation in public accounting combined with hands-on corporate accounting experience, who thrives in a dynamic, growth-oriented setting. Key Responsibilities Lead and support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules Assist with financial statement preparation in accordance with GAAP Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis in collaboration with FP&A and operational teams Partner with external auditors and advisors, including preparation of audit schedules and responses to audit inquiries Support accounting integration for new entities and acquisitions Leverage Workday Financials to improve reporting accuracy, automation, and process efficiency Identify and implement process improvements and internal control enhancements appropriate for a PE-backed organization Assist with compliance related to healthcare regulations and reporting requirements Mentor junior accounting staff and contribute to building scalable accounting processes Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred or in progress) 5–8+ years of progressive accounting experience Blend of public accounting (Big 4 or national/regional firm preferred) and corporate accounting experience Healthcare industry experience strongly preferred Experience working in a private equity-backed or high-growth environment highly desirable Hands-on experience with Workday Financials required or strongly preferred Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and internal controls Advanced Excel skills; experience with financial systems and ERP implementations a plus Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment Strong communication skills and ability to partner cross-functionally Interested in hearing more?
