Job DescriptionBenefits: Position Summary The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations for a live event and production company. This role ensures safe, efficient, and organized handling of production equipment while maintaining compliance with OSHA/ADOSH workplace safety standards. The Warehouse Manager plays a critical leadership role in enforcing safety policies, managing inventory, supervising warehouse staff, and supporting event logistics. Key Responsibilities Warehouse Operations • Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, staging, and shipping of production equipment, • Maintain an organized, clean, and efficient warehouse layout, • Coordinate load-ins, load-outs, and prep schedules for events, • Ensure equipment is properly stored, labeled, and secured, • Implement systems to improve workflow efficiency and reduce damage or loss Workplace Safety & Compliance • Enforce all warehouse safety policies and procedures, • Maintain compliance with OSHA and ADOSH regulations, • Conduct regular safety inspections and correct hazards promptly, • Ensure proper use of PPE by employees, contractors, and visitors, • Oversee forklift safety, certifications, and daily inspections, • Lead safety meetings and toolbox talks, • Investigate incidents, near misses, and injuries; document and report as required, • Ensure heat illness prevention procedures are followed (Arizona-specific), • Maintain safety documentation, training records, and incident logs Team Leadership & Supervision • Supervise warehouse staff and temporary labor, • Train new hires and contractors on warehouse safety procedures, • Assign daily tasks and ensure work is completed safely and efficiently, • Enforce company policies and address safety violations, • Promote a culture of accountability, communication, and safety-first thinking Equipment & Asset Management • Manage inventory of audio, video, lighting, LED, staging, rigging, and power equipment, • Ensure damaged or unsafe equipment is tagged and removed from service, • Coordinate equipment maintenance and repairs, • Track equipment movement and availability for upcoming events, • Work closely with production, project management, and crewing teams Documentation & Reporting • Maintain accurate inventory and warehouse records, • Document safety inspections, incidents, and corrective actions, • Assist with insurance audits, client compliance requests, and internal reviews, • Provide regular reports to ownership or operations leadership Qualifications • 3+ years of warehouse management or lead warehouse experience, • Experience in live events, production, staging, or AV preferred, • Strong knowledge of workplace safety and material handling best practices, • Forklift certification (or ability to obtain), • Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in a warehouse environment, • Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills, • Proficient with basic inventory systems and digital tools Preferred Skills • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification, • Experience managing production equipment (truss, LED, staging, cases), • Familiarity with ADOSH regulations, • Experience supervising contractors or freelance labor, • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus Physical & Work Environment Requirements • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods, • Work indoors and outdoors as needed, • Exposure to heat, noise, and heavy equipment, • Flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends as required by event schedules Performance Expectations • Zero tolerance for unsafe behavior, • Maintain a clean, organized, and audit-ready warehouse, • Proactively identify and mitigate safety risks, • Support efficient event operations through strong warehouse leadership This position is critical to protecting people, equipment, and the reputation of the company.
