Responsibilities and Duties Responsible for cleaning the emergency shelter and childcare building where survivors are served so that areas are well organized, clean and tidy: • Clean floors by sweeping mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming, • Gather and empty trash in common areas, restrooms, break rooms, children’s areas, dining rooms, kitchen, • Clean and supply public restrooms and supply resident restrooms, • Clean main and side dining areas to include: chairs, tables, serving line, counter tops, and front and inside of refrigerators and microwaves that survivors use, • Assist kitchen staff with deep cleaning of cooking area at least once a month, • Fill cleaning liquids for survivors to use on a regular basis, • Quality Control: Ensures all areas are kept in a clean and orderly condition., • Records: Accountable for ensuring records and documentation are accurate and current., • Policies/Procedures: Ensures safety procedures are followed.
