This role involves applying medical techniques and principles under the supervision of a physician and working with a diverse patient population to provide compassionate care and encouragement. Responsibilities: • Deliver healthcare services under the supervision of a licensed physician., • Conduct patient examinations and document medical histories., • Perform physicals and treat minor injuries (e.g., sutures, splints)., • Order and interpret diagnostic tests to diagnose medical conditions., • Prescribe therapies or medications with physician approval., • Monitor treatment responses and provide patient counseling., • Assess patient health needs and strive to meet them effectively., • Issue prescriptions and administer medications as appropriate., • Communicate any concerns or discrepancies to supervising physicians., • Review patient histories and identify abnormal conditions., • Track patient progress and maintain detailed medical records., • Prepare patients for examinations and perform routine procedures (e.g., vital signs, injections)., • Provide therapeutic treatments (e.g., wound care, stitching)., • Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams., • Respond to medical emergencies., • Follow up with patients to evaluate procedure outcomes and adjust care plans., • Obtain informed consent for procedures., • Assist in triaging patient referrals.Qualifications:, • Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies or related field., • Active New York State Physician Assistant license., • Current New York Controlled Substance and Drug Enforcement Registration., • Graduate of an accredited PA program; post-graduate surgical training or equivalent experience preferred., • NCCPA Certification., • Experience in Emergency Medicine, Family Practice, or Acute Care., • Certifications such as DOT, BLS, ACLS are preferred., • Bilingual proficiency (Spanish) is a plus., • Proven experience as a Physician Assistant or Nurse., • Weekly pay, • Medical benefits
