The Senior Managerwill lead strategic sourcing and supplier management forglobalmarketing-relatedspend, including creative agenciesof record, media planning and buying, omnichannel, website development and support.This role isaccountablefor cost optimization,drivingsupplier innovation, andmitigatingrisk while partnering closely with Marketingstakeholdersto enable business growth and brandobjectives.Reporting to the Senior Director, responsible for Global Commercial Procurement, the Sr Manager willserve as a trusted advisorandobjective advocate for the procurement organization, fostering strong partnerships with Commercial leaders acrossJazz. The role will require traveltoJazzUSandglobal officesasrequired,supplier sites and othermeetingslocationsas necessary. Essential Functions: The following responsibilities will bein-scope: Category Management: * Accountable for developing, executing, and improvingcomprehensivecategorystrategiesformarketing spendaligned with businessobjectives. * Analyze market trends and benchmark costs toidentifyopportunities for savings and innovation. * Subject matter expert (knowledge of industry, major players, threats, opportunities, terms etc.) * Manage the end-to-end competitive sourcing process (i.e.specifications, statements of work, performance terms, and/or acceptance criteria); Manage an efficient Vendor selection process driving the team towardsa timelydecision with all risksidentified. * Negotiate master agreements as well as other associated contracts (SOWs, Change Orders, etc.) and detailed budgets and payment schedules. Business Partnering: * Partner with Marketing leadership to understand business needs and deliver procurement solutions that support brand and campaign goals. * Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholdersat all levels, from Marketer, to Brand Lead to Franchise Head,balancing cost efficiency with quality and speed-to-market. * Establish effective cross-functionalrelationships (Commercial, Quality, Legal, Finance and others) to ensure synergies are delivered and roadblocks mitigated * Appropriately challenging thestatus quofor process, systems, and people with the goal of streamlining and simplifying Supplier RelationshipManagement: * Develop andmaintainstrategic relationships with key suppliers to ensure performance, innovation, and continuous improvement. * Lead contract negotiations and ensure favorable terms that mitigate risks and maximize value. * Monitor supplier performance and drive resolution of disputes or performance issues. * Developing a governance model,conductingvendor segmentation,gainbuy-in from the business owners,developa category-wide set of key performanceindicatorsandimplementthe infrastructure to support ongoing efforts by leading Supplier Business Reviews. Reporting/Forecasting/Budgeting/Savings: * Partner with the Business and Finance to produce an annual Budget and regular re-forecasts justifying differences based on negotiated contracts and future projects * Collaborate with Finance to input financial informationrequiredfor projects, project proposals, make versusbuyprocesses and other strategic scenarios developed by the Business requiring external cost input * Actively track and report on savingsas a result ofProcurement's engagement RequiredEducation,KnowledgeandSkills * Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or related field; MBA or CPSM preferred. * Minimum7years Procurement experience with progressive responsibility,at least5years in marketing category management. * Experience in biotech/pharmaceutical industry preferred * Experience as a Category Manager supporting Europe and International a plus * Abilityto work independently and collaborativelyin a team * Excellent verbal and written communication and skills including the ability to effectively tailor communication to varying levels within the organization * Commercially astute,strong planning and analytical skills, including financial modelling, Excel, and Excellent PowerPoint skills essential. * Analytical thinker with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines * Ability to influence without direct authority * Proventrack recordof significant cost reduction * Experience with Coupa's Business Spend Management Platform (all Source to Pay modules) preferred #LI-SP1 #LI-Remote Jazz Pharmaceuticals is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any characteristic protected by law. FOR US BASED CANDIDATES ONLY Jazz Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices and we strive to provide employees with total compensation packages that are market competitive. For this role, the full and complete base pay range is: $137,600.00 - $206,400.00 Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, and other pertinent factors. The goal is to ensure fair and competitive compensation aligned with the candidate's expertise and contributions, within the established pay framework and our Total Compensation philosophy. Internal equity considerations will also influence individual base pay decisions. This range will be reviewed on a regular basis. At Jazz, your base pay is only one part of your total compensation package. The successful candidate may also be eligible for a discretionary annual cash bonus or incentive compensation (depending on the role), in accordance with the terms of the Company's Global Cash Bonus Plan or Incentive Compensation Plan, as well as discretionary equity grants in accordance with Jazz's Long Term Equity Incentive Plan.
