Job DescriptionJob Title: Parts BreakdownJob Description This position involves removing cut parts from large sheets of steel, aluminum, or other metals in a repetitive manner, requiring the ability to stand in place for extended periods. When not engaged in this task, employees will participate in various activities throughout the warehouse. Responsibilities • Complete basic, routine tasks with detailed instructions., • Move inventory or equipment, fill customer orders, pull material from racks, unload incoming material, load trucks or customer vehicles, and help maintain the warehouse., • Receive, place, and return items into stock inventory locations., • Pull and assemble orders based on work or shipping orders and other documentation., • Tag material for proper identification and complete all required documentation., • Move material from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas using forklift, side loader, or crane., • Operate yard truck for loading and unloading trailers., • Maintain work area in a clean, safe, and orderly condition., • Sort and place material on racks, shelves, or in bins according to size, type, or product code., • Conduct spot checks on inventory and complete daily or ad hoc checks for proper tagging of material, as directed., • Report any irregularities to the supervisor., • Restock material., • Occasionally drive motor vehicle (non-DOT truck) for local deliveries and parts pick-ups., • Adhere to and ensure compliance with applicable safety and quality standards., • Perform all other duties and responsibilities assigned by management.Essential Skills, • Forklift operation, • Production, • General labor, • Material handling, • Picking and packing, • General production, • Order picking, • Machine operation, • Shipping and receiving, • Construction, • Assembly, • Loading and unloadingAdditional Skills & Qualifications, • 0-5 years of relevant experience or equivalent education and experience., • High School diploma/GED preferred., • Valid Driver’s License required., • Ability to obtain certification for motorized material handling and rigging equipment., • Trade school certification in electrical, HVAC, and/or plumbing preferred., • Technical aptitude and basic knowledge of mechanics., • Working knowledge of electromechanical systems, troubleshooting, and equipment repair., • Manual dexterity, finger dexterity, arm-hand steadiness, and multilimbed coordination., • Ability to read and comprehend written instructions., • Basic measurement and arithmetic skills., • Basic computer proficiency and software application knowledge., • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively., • Ability to make sound decisions based on knowledge, experience, and judgment.
